As with every election cycle, people want to talk about experience. Why ? There are 100 senators, 400+ congressmen, 50 governors and many many mayors. None of these jobs is the President of the US. There is a two term limit, how much experience do you think you are going to get in a candidate ? Take McCain, the spokeman on CNN is defending Palin because she has experience "in the executive branch". However I have never heard of McCain having any such experience, has he ? Was he a governor or a mayor somewhere that I don't know about ? Nobody except the President of the US is Commander in Chief of one of the most feared military forces in the world. There is no training for that. And they tout military experience when talking about McCain, but the closest Palin has ever come to that was having kids. That was probably much harder than signing a budget that included "bullets" for the national guard. As if Obama has any experience either in that respect. You want a President with experience ? What do you want to do, go find Jimmy Carter and dig up Richard Nixon or something ? Just how do you get experience for a job like that. It is a fairly uniquie position to hold. The fact of the matter is this : Nobody has experience. T
