Thadius -> Obama on Oreilly... (9/4/2008 5:46:24 PM)

If you get a chance catch this interview, the first part is tonight, and will be repeated later.  Part 2 Monday, 3 Tues, and 4 Wed.
Kind of eye opening.

Edited for fix when parts 2 3 and 4 will be televised.

Actually, he looked like he was playing Bill's bitch, at least in the first segment.  Sorry for the spoiler.  Excellent interview though, fair and tough questions.

I give him credit for going on the 'no spin zone'. To me though, he looked very weak in his stance on fighting these terrorists. He also wouldn't or couldn't say what he would do if and when Iran gets their hands on a nuke. He has also said he would go after Bin Ladin in Pakistan in the past. It is clear that will never happen ..

lronitulstahp -> RE: Obama on Oreilly... (9/4/2008 6:01:11 PM)

i give anyone credit for calling it the "no spin zone" without coughing up a little bit of vomit...but then again i get all my news from BBC, and Comedy Central, so what do i know?[;)]

You mean there's a difference?

I havent been able to find the debates on tv. Can some one toss out a link where I could find some? You tube has them I assume...but I thought Id ask just to be sure.

Thadius -> RE: Obama on Oreilly... (9/4/2008 8:20:08 PM)

The debates haven't happened yet...[8|]

DomKen -> RE: Obama on Oreilly... (9/4/2008 8:43:31 PM)

O'Reilly was shown to be a partisan hack purely interested in advancing his assigned talking points. I'm glad the interview was done with independent video so he can't start presenting carefully re-edited crap.

Probably the dumbest thing Obama has done during this campaign. Luckily it will get blown off the news cycle by next week's Enquirer.

On a serious note, hells yeah there's a difference.  i find the BBC to be far superior in presenting news and facts (without leaning in any direction) to any of their American counterparts. But then again, i'm registered Independent, and so is my way of thinking....

I can never get passed the fact that O'Rielly started on Inside Edition...he comes off as smug to Me...I read his first book actually liked his writing better than his TV personality. Watched the first partof the interview and O'Rielly said the next parts get "Heated"....I am anxious to see the rest of it.

Are you talking about what I think you're talking about?

subrob1967 -> RE: Obama on Oreilly... (9/5/2008 4:25:49 PM)

Part 1

I was pleasently suprised by Hussein, and felt that O'Reilly was fair, and not as tough as I thought he would be, but then again, he hasn't got to the Ayers, Wright, or any of the other jusy stuff yet.

They are going to try and claim she had an affair sometime, and some other fun stuff.

Yeah, I know, heard the rumours - I was trying to be discreet. Obviously totally failed. The Enquirer looks half assed about it though: doesn't look like they have much for proof. They made some wishy washy statement that there was more to following the initial publication next week. Shit will hit the fan, whether it's true or not.

Rumour mongerers don't ever need any kind of proof. See: Obama's birth certificate [>:] .

i doubt that the enquirer story will cause much of a fuss.  i just saw a poll that states almost 60% of Americans believe that the media has attacked Palin.  so, if they do not have or reveal solid proof it will loose steam pretty quick!

The only reason I even mention it is its hard to discount their investigative journalism after they broke the Edwards story.
