When I finished reading the book, I started crying for his children knowing that they were so young when he died. Catching a good comedy with your friends and laughing so hard, your cheeks just hurt!

I'm passionate about my two dogs, about those i love close family and friends (and I'm fiercely protective of them), I passionate about books, music, about my future, about love. then again I'm just a fiery passionate person.

My life is based on passion. I have always felt emotions and passions very strongly - my first full sentence as a child was "Me do it!" - and once set upon a task, I'm unstoppable. Depth of emotion, for me, is what colors life. What particularly moves me is a sense of wonder and a willingness to always keep exploring and plumbing the depths to see what I am capable of. I never fail to surprise myself and this intensity has pushed me to grow and mature. There's been one or two times in my life where passion became obsession, because I was not yet old enough or wise enough to learn when to step back and temper my feelings with logic. Ironically, I used to consider myself unemotional! How far from the truth. <edited to add something pertinent> One of my favorite songs of all time is He Got Game by Public Enemy. These lyrics pretty much sum it up for me: It might feel good It might sound a little sum'thin but fuck the game if it ain't sayin' nothin

Directing the flow of the intensity to provide positive experiences while not dulling your life and sense of adventure is certainly something I highly recommend. I floundered for a long time with trying to "fight" myself. It seems that almost over night it all came into focus and I have been truly unstoppable ever since. Dolf

I can relate to that statement! I now realize at some point, that I had to move on because in my situation, that obsession was hurting me and I needed to find my own happiness.

I can also relate. I've had a few times that it became a little too much. I did realise it and tried to slow it down. If it gets to the point that it's hurting you or someone else it's time to cool it. Obsession though isn't always a bad thing. Our lives to date are built on the backs of obsessed people. Driven to excell passed what passion would mean to most of us. I don't fear these things and look forward to the next time I can let out my passion. As i'm typing these words, I feel it now.[:D] Expressing myself is one of my passions [:D]. I hope to do it at all times with Grace but i am a Neandrathal, Occipital bun and all [:D]

i'm the most passionate about the Lifestyle. i so groove on the people and the festishwear and the toys and the scenes and playing and the sounds and the public dungeons and just everything! The Lifestyle is really my only passion at this time. Master loves our scenes to be hot and passionate too. i wiggle and move and moan and cry out and and He growls and whispers and demands and pops the whips and paddles. We are passionate about showing others how passionate a scene can be. We are both, as individuals, passionate teachers and i can't think of anything more boring than a stoic. Its interesting that you bring this up because i've been mulling over how i could do a Demo on adding passion to scene play. Hummmmmmm. Good posting! i used to be passionate about my profession, but the industry has changed so much that i just up and left it. i'm searching for a new one now and hoping i can find something to be passionate about instead of just a job. sm All it takes is absolute surrender

Greetings Icarys, A wonderful question... one that has been on my mind for some time. I have been living in Asia for the last year or so. The lack of passion there just dried out my soul. I feel like a little mushroom all flaky and brittle. There was nowhere to dance (my greatest passion), noone to really flirt with (my greatest passion), nor places to enjoy great art (my greatest passion). I never said I was completely logical. smile At least not where I was. The year there nearly killed my soul. My pain of losing my passion, a place to express my passion, was devestating to my spirit. I returned to the USA and found bits and pieces of it coming back, but in order to save my essence, I needed to do something completely passion filled. I returned to my beloved Peru for a month. I've been here a short time, but already, I've found myself dancing with a beautiful man in the restaurant at lunch, twirling to indigenous music all alone, gasping for breath at the beauty of ancient art, quieting myself so I can hear the music and the laughter of those around me. I am filling up again. This is not at all odd here. It is encouraged. Expression of appreciation is enjoyed... In Asia, I had nothing that energized me, daily life energizes me here. Passion is what gets us up in the morning, drives us to move forward, gives us hope for tomorrow. For me, it is art, music, dance, love, good food, intellectual discourse, and adventure. May you have enough, sunshine

I don't do overly outward shows of emotion but i still feel it inside. My passion is in the new ways i can make a female squirm, whether it be from physical or mental. I do also love dreaming up or working on new devices to help that along. (these things are completely meaningless to me if i don't have the bond, I would much rather have the bond over these anyday) The emotional bond that forms from this is the thing i seek most and am most passionate about. Not all of the relationships work out but when they do. Oh yes, when they do[:D]. It's something to see and experience. I enjoy also when i see others going through these same things.

Passion is equivalent to the intensity with which you work and approach life. It's connecting with something so deeply that everything else pales in comparison. Nothing else enters your consciousness, like the need for food, rest, sleep etc.... it's a driving force in and of itself.
