Your question was: Why does it seem that CM and other sites have floods of people 18-23 and then 45-60? My bet would be that both 18-23 and 45-60 are ages of sexual exploration. The general occupation of those 25-45 is setting up a career and a family. Sex as anything but procreation and relaxation takes a backseat, especially kinky sex. 18 is the opening of your sexual flower, so you're open to loads of new things, etc. 45 is the mid-life crisis age, lol, and thus you try things you never did when you were young. That's what I would guess, anyway. There's probably an easier explanation.
