First practice your normal social skills and learn how to get along with women in the more normal ways.  BDSM is not a magic pill for finding women who are willing to let you be "sexually dominant" with them.  In fact, it can be harder than finding sexual partners in the regular way.

if you were clearer about what you mean by "this whole dom thing", and had some actual tangible questions... you might get more help.

Otherwise, read around the boards a bit.

Horribly simplified:

I consider D/s to occur in two places: in the bedroom and outside of it.  In the bedroom, it's called Topping/bottoming and is a collection of physical play techniques.  Outside, it's mental.

In the bedroom, tips would be useful - how to flog, how to tie up, how to spank, how to gauge how much more a bottom can take, etc.  Outside the bedroom, it's just doing what comes naturally.

Here is something I would recomend go to sites like mcstories.com, ewpub.com and storiesonline.net and read their BDSM stories and various other stories, now here is the tricky part, do not do what they say, come here and ask about the ones you found most interesting and see what people tell you about them, that is the way I think that will accelerate your learning curve the most.

What did the leper say to the prostitute?

"Keep the tip!"

Amen to that. I've found it damned near impossible to find satisfying sexual partners in BDSM, and find it considerably easier otherwise.
