These?

No idea, but some look quiet nice.
I like the pictures showing someone wearing three at once.

Sunnyfey -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 4:02:28 AM)

yeah those, i want one but i actually want to hear from people who own one to see if its worth it or not

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 4:07:34 AM)

i wear one and yes, imho, they're worth it. mine was made by Vad Farkas (he has a cm profile) ...it hasn't rusted on me yet. it did take a couple of days getting use to the metal and weight around my neck. now it feels light as a feather ...so days i don't even notice that's around my neck until someone compliments me about it.

Sunnyfey -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 4:51:02 AM)

ive seen his work, i ment the etenrity collars with o0ut the visable lock, like the ones at eternitycollars.com

kinkypuppy2 -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 8:28:25 AM)

Nice collars but the few we had the plating on them wore off quick.
The fit and finnish is no where up to standards of Axmar (but then the price is not either)

For a 24/7 locked on collar for a lifetime I suggest you look elsewhere.

VadFarkas -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 12:12:25 PM)

Thank you sambamanslilgirl!
For what it's worth and just for the record.
I went on the Eternity site seababy posted and looked at their collars and made this photo link:

Yes Eternity does use a smaller screw than my standard Buttonhead screw collar but their hinge
and screw area has gaps that show very plainly.

I just offered one of my Stealth collars on eBay. Although  the gap is less than the Eternity,
I consider this not up to my usual standards. See the photo insert.
http://www.ringofsteel.net/images/stealth-2nd.jpg

The stealth collar has NO screw or hinge showing on one side and all the joints are less visible on all my collars.
Also for the record, I have been making Turian Style collars years before Eternity started making them.
We both make a lightly different style and this gives the consumer a choice... which is always a good thing.

Very nice! What you're putting out blows Eternity out of the water, especially with that latest addition ;)

VadFarkas -> RE: Eternity collars (9/8/2008 3:43:36 PM)

stef, Thank you for reminding me of that thread. One thing that comes up a lot is that I have a very personal and intimate relationship with my customers. Many stay in touch with me and involve me with their lives, this does not end after the purchase. Part of that is due to the fact that I do listen to their suggestions as I obviously did in your case. Many of my designs came about thru discussion. The Iron Maiden for example took the original customer months to talk me into making and now it is a big part of my business. The stealth collar has become one of my biggest seller and and I owe this to you and other folks wanting this design. Us old farts are set in our ways but at least I do listen... if not at first. That's why I recommend you over others who produce similar product. Artisans who actually care what people say and think are becoming few and far between. Thanks for being one of them.

I have used an eternity collar for 4 years with no problems on my girl.

michelleryder -> RE: Eternity collars (9/13/2008 2:15:18 AM)

I wear mine constantly and have done for a couple of years now. It comes in and out of the bath with me I sleep in it etc.The only drawback I find  is when the weathers nice. The metal seems to draw the heat. Living in the uk though thats not too big a problem usually.

ghitaPVH -> RE: Eternity collars (9/13/2008 6:38:40 AM)

Ive had an eternity collar for several years now, I love it. Its never tarnished or rusted or lost its shine. P does take it off of me occasionally to clean it because even though I wear it in the shower with me and I swear I wash my neck, it gets this light film of icky on the inside. But then Im outside covered in sawdust or dirt and sweat generally sevral times a week..so maybe its just me. What I love about it the most is that it NEVER has to come off. No matter what we are doing in the past few years its only had to come off for medical reasons. Now, I will say..we bought the little d&o ring that hangs on the front of it (and if I remember right, Vad offeres his for free but when we got the eternity collar we didnt know Vad and if we had Im sure we would have chose him instead) anyway, we paid extra for that little d&o ring and apparently it isnt made form the same metal or at least not the same grade, because it tarnished to this ucky blackish color very fast (ok, probably within a year). So since its so tarnished compared to the collar itself, I never get to wear it anymore. Which is disappointing because I really liked that ring, usually had it on 24/7 just like the collar itself.

The collar has been off my neck for the last week or so, with some recent medical issue's of my Sir;s, we have been in and out of several areas of the hospital and just to make it easier, Sir finally just took it off and left it at home. The first thing we noticed is that I have this permenant white ring around my neck..

What someone mentioned earlier about the heat is definantly true. I live in Florida in an un-airconditioned house, and Im outside in 90 degree heat quite a lot. There were days I would have to hold it off the back of my neck for a bit, or stick a damp rag on the back of my neck between it and my skin. It never got so hot to actually burn, just to be a little uncomforatble and make me feel even warmer....the opposite is also true though, it gets cold too!

OsideGirl -> RE: Eternity collars (9/13/2008 5:03:58 PM)

I have an eternity collar from before the company was sold. A close friend of ours was the original owner. I love mine and it can be worn in public. Most 'nillas just think it's industrial style jewelry.

VadFarkas -> RE: Eternity collars (9/14/2008 8:02:59 AM)

ghita,Sorry to read about the health of your Master and your collar problems. I can't help with the health but I can with the collar. If you email me your address, I will ship you one of my stainless steel leash/lead rings as a gift, since I have a cousin named Gitta.

i want an eternity thong! one that is custom fit black leather, fuzzie zebra print inside liner, with a d-rings at the pouch attacted to a cock ring, studs along the waist band with a buckle up front. that makes me HOT! if i get married to a Dom. Throw the ring away! if you insist on a ring it better have spikes on the inside pointing at the tips of my finger..that was i wont come off!

BLGirl -> RE: Eternity collars (10/19/2008 8:06:55 PM)

Daddy has chosen an AxMar collar for me http://www.axsmar.com/_english/index.htm, he wants to get it in titanium (says I deserve the best), but I am trying to beg for the stainless (about half the price). The only problem I have with them is that they look so industrial, but it has to be able to stand up to a lot of abuse because I am afraid that it may get bent in his hands in the middle of things. He is planning to have it engraved with some sort of vining design to feminize it a bit for me.
I am really looking forward to Christmas this year!
