Well, I have no idea, but I am curious why you don't ask him.

He probably intended to use gilded, more or less meaning opulent. It's also possible his place was overrun by a medieval union though...

It means you'll have to join a trade union!

All I can think if is a guilded bird cage.

Could be a pay on words reference.

"Could be a pay on words reference"

I am assuming that is not a typo.

I ment play this is why spell check, which btw refused to work with vista and wont d/l any joe blow program. So Im stuck for now without spellcheck and one of my major disadvantages is what my mind says my fingers right a properly spelled worth that a spell check probem would miss. I even re read it and dont catch it, hense the disclaimer on my sig. I  dont get up in arms if some questions that a sentance doesnt make sense because of a word typed that has no relivance.. Doesnt hurt my feelings.   With my brain functions, I have lost the ability to comprehend things, memory loss is  huge problem , and my math skills are pretty much non existant. I live with these faults and and am woman enough to not not be corrected.

If anyone a reliable spellcheck program for internet use, that is trusted , feel free to let me know. I just dont trust sites unless they have been recommened.

This computer did come with microsoft office, but I like things to be easy and not have to run two programs to answer a post.

If ths bother the grammer and spelling nazi so be it if they block my post. * shurg*  Im not looking for a situation so only answer to myself and my quirky mind I can live with, matter not to me if it aggravates to crap out of someone else....as usually there are now several ways to avoid a poster who spelling or grammer is not stellar. Personally judging people because of one thing or another just generally piss me off. But that I keep to myself mostly and will not get in a heater dissussion about peeves unless it directly effeccts me

that my 2 tuppins, take it or leave it

But ya know in the case you highlighted it could well be one or the other or both now that I look at it.

Thanks for pointing it out, I encourage anyone for clarification if my sentences make no sense.
