And here's the NEXT heaping pile of Palin to hit the news cycle:

In the investigation of "troopergate" Sarah Palin was court ordered to hand over all information, via a F.O.I.A. request by the prosecutor. Surprise! 11,000 emails were with held, with Palin citing "Executive privlidge." (sigh) Where have we heard THIS crap before?

You know, I think I have to change my mind. I think she IS perfectly suited to be a VP... she's a clone of Cheaney, 100%.

Maybe you will be lucky and a new source will report on this one, eh?  The Daily Kos started this rumor on the 1st, kind of strange that not even MSNBC has reported on this one...  guess they are now in the bag too?

Thanks for the entertainment.

Don't blame the messenger if the story is true.  Look at all the media that never ran the Edwards story and a tabloid ran it .

She is not what MCain makes her out to be, she is just as corrupt as everyone else in the game

^5 bipolarber!
I was thinking last week that McCain/Palin will be excellent replacements

for the current Administration.
Then we can sit back and wait for all those that love them, to enjoy similar
approval ratings as the current Administration.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

That's an interesting number 11,000 emails for one trooper issue!  Excuse me, but I find it hard to believe that there are 11,000 "relevant" emails...rather, it sounds like a democrat (read enemies) wish list and witch hunt.  I would laugh, but it's not funny.   I think you "nailed it" regarding what the extreme partisan state of our government, on all levels,  at this sad poltically charged time in America.

This is a good one.A judge`s order that she broke, after becoming the gov.

Looks like this is a vindictive ,vile although pretty and charming woman, the GOPs have picked.

Could it not be in spite of her charactor flaws but because of them, that the GOP loves her so much?

An Anchorage judge three years ago warned Sarah Palin and members of her family to stop "disparaging" the reputation of Alaska State
Trooper Michael Wooten, who at the time was undergoing a bitter
separation and divorce from Palin's sister Molly.

Allegations that Palin, her husband Todd, and at least one top
gubernatorial aide continued to vilify Wooten—after Palin became
Alaska's governor and pressured state police officials to take action
against him
—are at the center of "Troopergate," a political and
ethical controversy which has embroiled Palin's administration and is
currently the subject of an official inquiry by a special investigator
hired by the state legislature.

Thad,a blogger posting on the Daily Kos, does not equal "put out by the DK ",or "rumor started by the DK."

Any more than CM can be cited for what one poster writes on our message board.

With that logic,CM could be called a "right-wing echo chamber".But we know that one or two posters/bloggers don`t make up the whole scene here, don`t we?

Hell,Bill Orielly had his blog investigated by the FBI,after one of his payed primium member bloggers made terrorist threats againts Hillary.

So,is Bill`o a terrorist?

The Kos is one of the best and most affective left sites on the web.

Could that be why they are always maligned?

Suggesting that the Daily Kos is a reputable news source, as some around here do, is like how does the phrase go?  Oh yeah, putting perfume on a pig.  I have no problems with folks posting their opinions and thoughts there, hell I encourage them to express themselves.  There are counterparts on the opposite side of the spectrum, like Redstate, it doesn't mean that either are news worthy, and until FACTS are obtained reporting what is found on either side is just more of the fear mongering and slinging mud that many of us have come to expect and deplore in the election process.  Only now it is on steroids because anybody can do so.

That is the only point I was trying to make about the Kos, it is not a news site or source for reliable information, and neither are many of the other blog sites out there regardless of political affiliation.

The Daily "POS.?"
Gee, and I wonder just how long it would take to type and send "11,000 e-mails?"
Even "The Messiah" couldn't do that in 6 months and that's WITH Bill Ayers helping him!

Now this is just fucking beyond the Palin. Rape victims were charged for rape kits in Wasilla under Palin.

Critics: Under Palin, Wasilla charged rape victims for exam
By George Bryson | Anchorage Daily News

Two state leaders lashed out at the public record of Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday as witnesses in a new "Alaska Mythbusters" forum coordinated by supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Speaking to a teleconference audience of reporters around the nation, former Gov. Tony Knowles and current Ketchikan Mayor Bob Weinstein -- both Democrats -- accused Palin of misleading the public in her new role as the vice presidential running mate of Arizona Sen. John McCain.
While some of their complaints have already been aired, Knowles broke new ground while answering a reporter's question on whether Wasilla forced rape victims to pay for their own forensic tests when Palin was mayor.
True, Knowles said.
Eight years ago, complaints about charging rape victims for medical exams in Wasilla prompted the Alaska Legislature to pass a bill -- signed into law by Knowles -- that banned the practice statewide.
"There was one town in Alaska that was charging victims for this, and that was Wasilla," Knowles said
A May 23, 2000, article in Wasilla's newspaper, The Frontiersman, noted that Alaska State Troopers and most municipal police agencies regularly pay for such exams, which cost between $300 and $1,200 apiece.
"(But) the Wasilla police department does charge the victims of sexual assault for the tests," the newspaper reported.
It also quoted Wasilla Police Chief Charlie Fannon objecting to the law. Fannon was appointed to his position by Palin after her dismissal of the previous police chief. He said it would cost Wasilla $5,000 to $14,000 a year if the city had to foot the bill for rape exams.
"In the past we've charged the cost of exams to the victims' insurance company when possible," Fannon told the newspaper. "I just don't want to see any more burden put on the taxpayer."

Figured I would drop in with where any truth in this rumor has come from.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - E-mails from the Palin administration are being withheld from the public and the governor is citing executive privilege.
With subject lines like "Fagan," "Andrew Halcro" and even "Alaska Ear," it makes some wonder how those topics could possibly be policy related; especially since those same e-mails were copied to the governor's husband.
The administration says public employees need to know they can debate openly amongst themselves.
Andree McLeod, who tried repeatedly to get a job with the Palin administration, obtained the e-mails through a public records request.
The Department of Law says the e-mails are privileged. Officials say the private e-mails within the Palin administration won't be released.
"Part of the reason for not releasing e-mail messages is that there is a privileged recognized by the Alaska Supreme Court and courts across the country that is designed to encourage advisers to the governor to be frank and candid," Assistant Attorney General Dave Jones said.
Radio talk show host Dan Fagan is a Palin critic.
He says this isn't about policy. It's about not letting the public see what people in the administration have to say about Palin critics.
"If this is about executive privilege and confidential information then Todd should not be privy to them," Fagan said. "He's a regular citizen he does not get to be co-governor. We did not slash Todd on the ballot box."
Fagan is referring to Todd Palin, the governor's husband who also got copies of many of the e-mails.
Jones says the privilege applies in this case.
"That privilege applies to internal memoranda within state government but also to communications that are solicited from people outside state government," he said. "Sometimes the governor will want to solicit advice from people who are not state employees or federal Of course one of the closest advisers to a governor is likely to be that governor's spouse."
The governor says it's a non-issue.
"I feel like this is kind of a sport right now and that the haters and critics are really jumping," Gov. Palin said. "It's much ado about nothing in my opinion."
Palin says her husband is copied on the e-mails simply to make sure she gets a message.
She says her husband has no interest in being a politician.
"That's my job and that's respected by Todd," Palin said. "He's a great Alaskan whom I can bounce ideas off and he's wonderful. But, no Todd's not running the state."
Palin says that previous governor's spouses were much more involved in politics than her husband has been. Former Gov. Frank Murkowski's spouse, Nancy, was considered a senior adviser and attended all meetings.

So there ya go folks... make of it what you wish.
