you put into words precisely how i felt about my 'x'. i didn't live with him but he DID have the power and control to make or break every single day with one word or lack thereof. i didn't give it to him, he took it... as was his right.
Living on the edge is exactly what i crave. Every day that he was coming to see me filled me with excitement and fear, and i never felt more alive and haven't since.
The way you worded it was without a doubt words that spoke to me, personally. thank you.
i hope to someday have that again, to again be uncentered by that power and control.
