LOL yeah, I don't mind I was just having ask a facetious question moment hehe

All though sometimes in my boredom or silly ness moods some of the topics make me think what would they be like as a nick name. Would the nick name RandomStupidity give people the wrong impression of how you have to much time on your hands lol. Or how about GardenVariety Slut like one guy called submissive women here once lol

Names that are totaly pointless but to amuse. I just think them up I never actually make dumb profiles up hehee

FelinePersuasion -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/4/2005 9:11:57 PM)

Well the phone representative said the original jar was stiffer if you will but I still don't know if I like how it makes my skin feel.

siamsa24 -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/5/2005 5:10:33 AM)

The way that it makes your skin feel is a personal preferance, many people dislike Noxema because it contains menthol and gives an odd hot and tingly or tight feeling to the face. It is also quite drying unless it is followed with a moisturizer. Generally, I only recommend that people with very oily skin and acne problems use the original version of Noxema and that they follow with a facial moisturizer. People with combination skin should use the sensative skin version, also followed with a facial moisturizer and people with dry or sensative skin should use another brand. I have several recommendations if anyone is interested, I can also give specific companies that make excellent facial moisturizers that do not create problems on people with sensative skin and do not cause acne to flare up.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/5/2005 3:18:20 PM)

yeah I know it's a personal preferance:) I just ment I chose not to use it again after the company cleared it:) It also claims to be non drying but It all just depends on the skin I guess

Tempestspet -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/5/2005 3:30:59 PM)

Seriously,
All you would have had to do about the noxema is to take the jar back, with receipt. Even though you opened it. You wouldn't have known it was bad til you opened it anyways, right!?!
They would have exchanged it for a new one. And you could have simply opened the new one to be sure it was good.

But to have used the jar... when you knew it shouldn't have looked that way...from prior experience.... now you likely get to eat the cost, unless you take it and the receipt back... let them wonder, and shake their head, and take pity on you...for not knowing better... and you still may get it exchanged.

All facial cleansers are drying, that's what cleaning your face does. No matter what you are going to strip the natural oils away. This is why everyone needs to use a moisturizer, no matter their skin type (dry, oily or combination).

Siamsa....I think you just hit on a new ad campaign for Noxema!!!

champagne...who wishes she had been here the day the beer was passed around...sigh

MzPam -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/8/2005 3:42:53 PM)

There's something about stiff things that get our interest, BUT I don't think stiff noxzema should be one of those lol, I say get your money back and tell them to use it on their asss and see if it feels good to them lol

Pam

mnottertail -> RE: a potentially bad jar of Noxzema? (12/8/2005 4:27:40 PM)

Well, fastlane advocates this on the masturbation question, to attain a smooth and silky feeling on this or that patch of skin without resorting to exfoliants. Noxema dry(you could toss some glycerin in it if you are afraid to take it back to walmart) is probably better dry than 600 grit sandpaper wet.........

So it is all relative (did eintstein say that?)

LMAO,
Ron

The oriiginal cream is diffrent than the new ones, it's not supposed to be a cream they say, But I still did get a cupon for another jar and I'll pick a diffrent kind than original.
