When I read this, in light of the thread, my first thought was....."hmmm...what did she cook for him?"....however, the story itself was pretty funny!  Cop was a little dense......most of the guys I know understand that when dealing with family members in a situation like that to just step back, keep an eye on them, but not get in their way.....avoids them getting bowled over!  He probably thought he was doing you a favor, but I know all about farming accidents.....not good news at ALL!  

Probably it was more that his pride was wounded....got knocked on his ass, and he couldn't catch ya!!!!  Probably pouted all the way back to the station!  (they can be such little boys!)

Status: offline 		Jim had a major complaint about the pot 'o chili i made so it is under construction again. Anyone care for a bowl full??????

*note: the complaint was nuttin bad. He said he wanted "more meat!!" (thought that was MY line?). Now cum on...it is a normal size crock pot and i had used a pound of gr meat and a half pound of sausage. I think he wants a meatloaf with kidney beans....*

Status: offline 		Why is it that almost all men want "more meat" in their food.  Oye vey!  I have put spinach and rice and several other things in meat loaf.  You might try the meatloaf with kidney beans and chili seasoning.  It just might work.  Besides, if it doesn't, you can always order pizza.

Many years ago, when I and the other half got togeather, we made a deal.  I would be able to try and cook whatever I wanted to try, and he would try it.  I would also have a twenty-dollar bill set aside.  If whatever experiment did not work out and was inedible, we would order a pizza. 

I still have the same twenty dollar bill set aside in my desk drawer.
