Mine is all about me as a person. "Shifted" is because I've moved so many times in so many different states... thus "shifting" from one place to another. And "Jewel" because in the right setting... well... I shine.
 
It's a nic that I've used for a long time online and it fits me.

The responses to this thread have been great.  I never gave it a lot of thought about screen names, but the points brought out here make a lot of sense in most cases.  I would have a tendancy to agree with just about everything posted.  I hope this helps wimpslave2 get a name that will help him in his quest for an owner.

As far as I know the only way to change your screenname is to create an entirely new profile, with the new screenname. that's why I said I'd love to see you come back to this thread in a new incarnation. I vote for strongslave, nobleslave, proudslave, worthyslave, or something like that, that will portray confidence and a sense of self-worth.

If I receive an email from someone I have interacted with here on the boards, I will read the email.  I will also communicate some thoughts in response to some forum posts privately.  Otherwise, those with  user names that shout no thought, no imagination, or interests that do not interest me indicate an author that will not as well.  They get deleted.  A "subject" introduction in the email format would be helpful.

Ok, just to let everyone know, wimpslave2 has changed his name and moved on.

He opted for wimpslave3. Much, much better. Things should really pick up now.

Maybe he doesn't feel or believe he's strong or noble or a worthy slave. If he believes he's a wimp and he wants to represent himself as a wimp, that's truth in advertisment and he should stick to the truth  and not advertise himself as something he isn't or doesn't feel. Regardless if any one likes it or not.

I'm of the same mind as a few others here. It does say something about the person but it's not everything they are. I do find i will read the profiles of the ones with a name like sweetslave4U versus immaho69, first.

This screen name reflects something that happened recently in my life that changed my view a little.

I have never met a woman, femdom or not, who would want anything to do with a man who readily and eagerily has his self worth and identity that low. I think this is primarily a male fantasy.  I would enjoy hearing if I am wrong - if any women actually have the mindset: "I really want to find a guy who us worthless, a wimp, a loser, no self esteem, who believes he is pathetic and weak, so that I can dominate him - that would be very rewarding and exciting."  I don't think that "type" of man is attractive to many women.

I do, however, think that "type" of man is very attractive to scammers (low self esteem = easily duped) and to professionals (it's a role they are familiar with and can cater to - at least they will do so honestly and ethically as an exchange of services). 

Any ladies purpopsely search the "male market" for men that identify as weak, wimpy, or worthless? What is the attraction, if so?

Actually, I don’t agree…if trampling is your ‘thing’ that is fine; It’s ok to have a fetish…it’s just that the ‘weak helpless sub/slave’ is less than appealing.  And let’s not get into the over the top sexual SNs.  Quite a few women on her like/love trampling (such as myself).  Like I suggested before, your profile should embrace your loves…

I think a description of a physical fetish (bondage, trampling, whatever) is a little easier to swallow than an identity that indiates the submissive's low self worth is tied directly into his personality and self image.  That's just me though.  A fetish is a fetish - you are still a man with your own personality, etc. - your surrender is not wrapped into a package that says "loser" with glee.

Still, I do recommend you balance in your profile at least though...if all you talk about is trampling and that's all you are interested in, that's probably not good.

And I am still more likely to lean in favor a sub having no fetish in his name, given a choice, and that he tone it down as best he can, unless really, it's so consuming that it's all he can talk about/think about.  As an example, I am not that into trampling. I am somewhat neutral about it.  So in my case, if I was *really* into a guy and had lust for him, I'd start thinking about how that fetish could come in handy - I would enjoy pushing those buttons and seeing the reactions.  However, if he was totally into trampling and would not participate in any of MY fetishes, and really, I got a sense that all he wanted from me is to trample him and he had a one track mind, I'd be turned off and lose interest.

It's all about balance.
