Oh, I don't think the two of you have to work at it at all; I'd be willing to bet it comes entirely naturally.

CalifChick -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 8:15:26 PM)

I thought it was funny.  Goes with the "so damn serious" theme...

KMsAngel -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 8:16:15 PM)

down here it's called cheekiness or mischieveiousness. not smart ass. cheeky sounds cuter. [:)]

i'm sharpening it by having my eldest um down here and having to work hard to get her to blush or be embarrassed.

CalifChick -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 8:16:33 PM)

<--- Natural smartass, no work to it at all.

Venatrix -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 8:30:46 PM)

I seem to recall seeing a T-shirt that said something along the lines of  "I hope to live long enough to become a burden to my (ums)."  It sounds like you're making a great start. [:D]

You know, there are some days when I really ought to stay away from the boards.

You say that but I know you don't mean it!!!!! I'm still waiting for the butterscotch and horse milkshake recipe.

LOL, i'm satisfied just being able to make them blush and add to their psychiatric bills

MissSCD -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 8:43:25 PM)

It is not just CollarMe.  The entire world has become a little sour.
Wonder why?
Could it be that we are watching our nation crumble into financial disaster while greed controls our destiny?  That kind of control seems to make me feel there is no hope, and even if there is, it will take years to fix this mess.
But geeze, we are the world.

Regards, MissSCD

He's just upset because he didn't get here first with the chocolate ice cream goat sundae recipe.  Bear, there are just some things you cannot get at Homo Depot, no matter how helpful you say the guys are.  Good goat sundae recipes are one of them.

BKSir -> RE: So damn serious (9/15/2008 9:30:54 PM)

Pfft, you must not be reading many of my posts then. ;)

Yeah, I can certainly be serious, when the need arises, but, I've never been one of those "Me big mean god, you worship now or me smite!" kind of people.  A smile and laugh lulls them into a false sense of security, and THEN I can sneak up and smack them in the rear! [sm=crop.gif]

Personally, I got my dad a tshirt for his birthday that I considered imminately appropriate, since he's now in a nursing facility.... it reads :

Be Good to Your Children, They Choose Your Nursing Home!

The majority of messages I receive are so full of dom speak it's ridiculous.  However, here on the boards, I find a refreshing change of pace-  lighthearted humor.
