This is not who I am. Sir and I had an interesting chat yesterday. His exwife of over a dozen years still tries to control him my manipulating the adult children.
His son was given the option of living with him or his mom when he entered high school. He chose his dad. She has been angry and non speaking to my Sir since. When his daughter sees him (which is very often), she occasionally carries messaes from the ex to him and he stops the daughter as soon as she begins and says, if your mother wants to say something to me, she can email, or pick up the phone.
Sir find controlling wives not his cup of tea.
Your Dom apparently does.
