ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that's all I have to say about it. On men? I don't find it particularly sexy but I don't mind it

sirsholly -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 9:26:41 AM)

pit hair on men is ok...except when there is deodorant flaking off. Gross.

sophia37 -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 9:33:14 AM)

I can not shave my armpits. The hairs grow inward. Have that happen to you a few times and you suddenly cease to care about other peoples viewing pleasure. No infection and pain is worth your fleeting approval. I do tho, keep the hair trimmed as short as possible. If it gets long, I can smell myself pretty early in the day. I dont sweat a lot, but the hairs do make you smellier. Keeping it short works out just fine.

subtee -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 9:41:34 AM)

I respect women with the chutzpah to do it, but society is pretty vocal about it's rejection of pit hair. Remember America's darling Julia?

While we're discussing hair, may I just say that hairy feet are also ew? Why bother shaving your legs if you're gonna have Hobbit feet.?

Lucylastic -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 9:43:24 AM)

I love male armpits, I love the softness of the hair, the smell, specially when hot and sweaty....more than a few hours is too much tho, but mmmmmm I love nuzzzling into his armpits, drives him nuts, so I do it even more

I dont like body hair period, pits or anywhere else aside from the head and face sometimes. Fox is cleanshaven for me, which he prefers anyway.

DesFIP -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 11:00:44 AM)

The problem with armpit hair is that it is in an area where sweat gathers, and in that moist environment bacteria grow, causing unpleasant odors. Personally I'm not fond of fake odors of deodorant, and would rather not have the bacteria that causes you to need it. I would rather shave.

sunshinedreams -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 11:21:57 AM)

I like to let mine grow too. I'm a total non-shaver, though the armpit hair gets shaved from time to time for various reasons. One of the things people don't think about, as far as odor, is that you really need different deororant depending on if you have hair or not. I use 1 of  2 that I keep on hand at home depending on if my pits are naked or not. Just thought I would say that in case someone wanted to let it grow, but was afraid of smelling bad. People who are anti-hair aren't usually intersted in me anyways, so it's all good. [8D]

OneMoreWaste -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 3:49:41 PM)

I do sweat more than the average person (medical side-effect), so I shave it (along with a couple other areas). Aesthetically, I just don't like body hair at all, so that works for me as well. Would definitely prefer my partner to be shaved, but it's just soooo much work. [8|]

windchymes -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 4:22:41 PM)

I like it on guys, not on women.

proudsub -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 5:05:12 PM)

My sister in law's sister is a lesbian.  I spent a week with her and her life partner on Maui a few years ago.  Neither of them shaved anything--pits, legs, bikini line, it all hung out. The pubic hair hanging out of their bathing suits bothered me but the other areas didn't. I am curious if this is common for lesbians?

GreedyTop -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 5:43:03 PM)

Zakkan.. just wanted to say I love your sig line (that guy is HILARIOUS!)

YourhandMyAss -> RE: armpit hair (9/16/2008 5:50:47 PM)

I used to shave all the time,  andI still need deoderant even if I am bald in the pits. I guess that's just the way I am then. Because I can shave and in moderate weather be smelly again in 30 mins, and in super hot weather with out deoderant I will smell really stinky and sour.

However hair or not I find rubbing vinagar over my armpits,vinagar is a nice and very natural way to not stink for an entire day

Me too, I've gone back to being 100 percent all natural too. And really I don't get very hairy. I have just as much hair on my legs when I don't shave as on my arms, but a bit darker, and I never get those big afro puff armpit bushes you see on most women (note I said most not all)who don't shave or trim. Now, like you I do shave the armpits every now an then just cause, or for a special reason, legs tooI'm not pyscially very high maintence and I have no desire to start to beso cause someone else wishes me to be. *Yes I consider needing to shave every 4 days and 3 days for the pussy to be high maintence*

but then again I figure if people can't accept you or don't like you or want to be friends with you, or date you,, simply cause you have body hair where society says you shouldn't, well they're the petty stuck up people I wouldn't hang around with anyway, hair or no hair.

Every 3 or 4 days?!?!    Everyday, I have to do it everyday to keep it smooth.  Maybe it's the vitamins I take.  They DO make my nails grow fast.

I don't really mind though, to me it's worth the labor of love, to keep everything smooth and soft.

That said, I went to school with a girl who kept all her body hair and the boys loved her...each their own, I think.  :)

simpleplan2 -> RE: armpit hair (9/17/2008 2:45:32 AM)

I do the same!

As far as hair and ladies go, the less the better, except for the head, which should be long. I will  display enough body hair for both of us. In the hair department I'm definitely sexist, no doubt, 100% sexist pig. It bothers me a bit just visualizing a big wad of underarm hair on a woman, or a big old mass of pubic hair. Not my thing, at all.

Ladies should be given free government hair laser treatments, I wouldn't mind a program like that, it benefits everyone.

Yes, I'm a hypocrite, I can go days without shaving my face even. Anyone who has a hair fetish look me up. I got tons of it, fast growing to, and thick, you might get lost in the chest hair jungle though. LOL. A Curse I tell you. I do have to shave my toe hair though, for some reason toe hair irks me, even on guys, it rolls my stomach.

Well that's certainly not how they look on the Internets! [&o]

I would probably reject a super hairy man for any one I'd be involved with since I think super hairy men are a huge turn off, more than a woman who has decided to go all natural, provided she didn't look like a she yettie, and her hygein didn't suffer for having hair.

I also don't think men should wear earrings though either, and it's a ok for women to lol. so
