My sub prefers soft restraints and gags. Any suggestions?

Padded leather restraints. Spend the money to get the nice ones. The fur lined ones get hot too fast for me.

Gags? If she likes ball gags I guess it shouldn't be a problem- most of those are soft, but then again I hate em because 99% of them smell funny to me. If she doesn't like ball gags, use a strip of fabric.

Stockings and pantyhose can also be used, they are soft, sexy, and do not make rope-burns to the sub :)
Silk scarves too.

An easy alternative to many ball gags to get around the smell and for someone that tends to be a mouth breather is to get the practice putting golf balls and use a cord of some kind to secure it. The practice ball has holes you can run the cord through and the sub is able to still breathe through them as well.

I go to the fabric remnants bin at Wal-Mart.I have found
several different fabrics that vary from fuzzy to a satin.
They are usually priced anywhere from under a dollar
upto 5.00 depending on the size you get.

I use big pieces on the floor for submissives to lay/kneel
on.I found one piece of fabric that has sort of a rubber backing
it sticks to the vinyl bench which stops the fabric from sliding off
when the sub is moving around(squirming,actually).

I used some black fabric with a sheer purple over it to cover
My dungeon windows,it looks cool when the sun shines through.

Big pieces can be cut into different sizes to have more than one
strip.One can be a gag I tie a knot in the middle of the gag piece.
The other the blindfold and if you more than one you can have an extra
for when the other ones are being washed.

Something else to consider is a flat sheet(I use a white one) that
can be cut into strips for gags and blindfolds.

You can now get neoprene cuffs. Neoprene is the stuff they make wetsuits from... it has some advantages, in addition to being much softer - it can be washed. Just toss it into a mesh bag and zip or knot the top, and throw it into the washing machine. Pantyhose can get very tight, and the knots can be murder - though they are useful and easy to explain if discovered. Be sure to have a pair of EMT scissors handy ( a good idea anyway with bondage ) because you may need them to cut the restraints off after!
