Unless I have my general settings weird (which I very may well), it seems like there are FAR fewer people on collarme (on the other side) as of this week/last week. No real numbers to share, but I could have sworn it was pages and page and pages of people "online now" just three weeks ago, now less than one page? So either my settings are changed and I am not seeing everyone, or the impact of school starting has a dramatic impact on this site. Which begs the question - high school or college (college aged people can stick around eaiser than HS)? Where did all those people go? Akasha

Its not just here its other places as well. I have noticed the same thing on the free porn upload sites.... no one is uploading and some of the sites are recycling content.

People are too busy following the election trail to do anything else- the political blogs are packed jamful of eager participants.

It' can't be the election, it must be the football season, everyone is off playing with their fantasy league, whereas CM brings fantasy to life

It's football, the election, the kids are back in school so they are inundating us parents with school papers (help I'm drowning over here!!), and for us in Green Country, the weather is nicer so we are able to go out and play without smothering in the heat and humidity. Also, lots of us have hurricane aftermath to deal with. These and many other reasons could contribute to the lack of online folk. Sunshine and back to school papers be damned, though, I'm still online. [:D]

huh, i'm actively avoiding the elections and i'm not interested in football. i think i'm in the minority of people still here/there/everywhere? (and i'm the age of being the mom of the hs or college "kids")

Hello AAkasha, There are also people gradually coming back Online as their power is restored post hurricanes and storms. There is a thread going about that here in this section now.
