With a name like snugglepet I've got to think you're hoping for a lot of yes votes. When I was first learning about the lifestyle I was conflicted because it seemed like the standard sub fantasies didn't have any room for love. When I was fantasizing about being a slave it was exciting but afterwards when I was sane I knew I couldn't live with no hope for love. Thankfully I met a few people who showed me by example that there was something infinitely more fulfilling than standard submissive fantasies. Now I'm living with the hope for love and I'll only give that up for actually living with love. Bill

I'm my Master's slave because I love Him, not the other way around. I wouldn't surrender my will unless I loved and trusted Him completely. Every one is different though.

define love The English language is poorer for having a single word that can mean such completely different things. However, I understand that Japanese has no direct translation for the English word "love" and obviously the Japanese people experience the same breadth of emotions as anyone else. Hearts and flowers romance? It exists for some slaves but not all. Affection? Usually but not always. Lust? Same answer. I could go on but I doubt I can answer your question. I have had wonderful, extremely fulfilling relationships without romance because that's what I wanted at the time. If the thinly veiled question is can you be a slave and have a romantic relationship then my advice is to simply choose to have the relationships you want. Don't choose a Master and wish he were different. I don't care what anyone says, a slave always has at least one choice, it is her choice as to who will be her Master.

Umm, quite cetain this was meant as sarcasm Wordly, read it again with that in mind. As to the OP, absolutely. Actually I was a submissive until I spent time with Sir and fell hopelessly in love with him and he with me ( thankfully![:)]) and I soon realized with his guidance that I am his slave, not his submissive. So of course love exists in this M/s world, somtimes it is the catalyst that actually drives it, at least for us it is. I am a sub not a slave but i will chime in anyway. I love my Master more and more with each pasing season. Loving him has given me great happiness. What makes it even better is that he loves me also. I would guess it is the same that slaves could love their owners and be loved in return if that is the relationship they wish. Matt's littleone

Good evening! I never considered myself a slave until my second Master said."you are a slave b/c everyone else's happiness comes first to you. You are not satisfied until everyone else is taken care of by you." So okay, I live with that. but I need to love and BE loved. So I found Daddy, and boy I love him to death. He loves me as a woman, a slave, a baby girl, even when I am most bratty, I know he loves me. I could not truly unleash myself or give myself over unless I knew that I was loved and cared for as least as much as I love him. That is why I cannot just play or have my service be all about sex, I need to be cherished and loved and I need to be allowed to do the same and have the same feelings for him. You know living blow up dolls without a mind and operated by a battery power remote control in their owners hands. Honestly, slaves are human and it's possible for love to exist. Some people want loving relationships, and some people could care less about it. It all depends upon the needs, wants and desire of two people in a D/s or M/s relationship, or any relationship period.
