I am totally lost. Doms/Dommes are bad because we expect to be obeyed? What you want us to not be obeyed? Or are you meaning something different?
Yes, there are ones that do take it way too far. Bit if they find someone that is happy with them so what? And if they don’t either they will change or not breed and so be out of the gene pool LOL…
But you find that attitude in many places. Many doctors, lawyers, politicians and others have that attitude. Change the word Doms/Dommes to any profession, creed or person and you have the same thing.
There are good Tops and bad ones. The bad ones tend to disappear, since no one plays with them for long.
The good ones walk around with big smiles in real life LOL

When I lived in Pittsburgh youd never nudge a person out of your way to get across the street but if a person was stopped at a green light you sure as heck would honk your horn. When I lived in New York a person gawking and holding up foot traffic gets knocked out of the way and its not rude, that person is rude for holding up foot traffic.

Oh, no you don't! There is a certain ground level of respect and that includes NOT touching another person without his or her consent except in circumstances where that person is in danger! Anyone nudging or knocking ME is going to get a foot in their face! I do My part by walking as swiftly as I am able, staying to the side of a crowd and by carrying a white cane to indicate to others that I am not able to see as they do, but being judged aside is NOT on My list of acceptable behaviours! Mistress or not, NOBODY does that to Me!

When I was in Australia saying "G'night Kiddo" is a very friendly way to say goodbye as its a pretty informal culture, unless one tells the person its a problem its pretty silly to expect people to read their mind and act accordingly.

The conversation was taking place in a BDSM frame of reference. In our household we have a phrase the slaves use: "Right, D.G.M.!" It's short for "Right, Divine Goddess Mistress!". It's funny and meant to be light happy, a tension reliever and a way of saying "Excuse me Ma'am, but you are really getting above yourself and out of bounds with regard to fair treatment of this slave! Can we recalibrate, please?" it is used in an EVERYDAY frame and not... and NEVER... used within the context of a scene or BDSM headspace! Ever. It is a way for a slave to release tension and express himself without angering Me because I have told him beforehand that it si a sort of real life safeword. In scene, using that phrase is instant grounds for punishment! It's insolent.

Because I know... and My *slaves* know the parameters, maners are preserved and stress is avoided. Had the conversation between Me and the slave in IM been casual, "G'night Kiddo" would have been acceptable.

Unless hes yours right?

And if hes yours maybe you have to work on training huh?

Dom/mes dealing with Dom/mes are bound to have alot of differing ideas on how to do this or that. If you are to enjoy the company of people in your own community and to learn form other people like we all must one must get over their own ideas of cultural norms in a broad community such as this one.

I have slaves from several different cultures/religions. Offhand I know I have two Arabs/Muslims, one East Indian/Hindu, one Black, and slaves from (and living in) France, England, Germany Australia and Switzerland as well as the United States. When I am unsure of a cultural reference or behaviour, I **ask** for clarification! Before I do something as simple as send out a collar, I check. For instance, the Hindu slave recieved a nylon webbing collar to avoid him having to wear leather from cattle! I would NEVER use a certain one of My toys on a Muslim because it is laced with pigskin.

Manners are the social lubricant between the hsarp edges we all possess. Just as I bend and shift and trim, so must others if we are to get along. And certain BDSM parameters are universal.

I AM SORRY YOU FEEL THIS WAY. BUT I AM A DOMME AND I AM KIND AND VERY CERTAIN OF HOW I TREAT OTHERS WHERTHER THEY ARE SUBMISSIVE OR A DOM R DOMMES LIKE MYSELF. NOT EVERYONE IS THE SAME IT SHOUOLD READ SOME OF THE DOMMES ACT THIS WAY OR THAT I HAVE HAD MANY EMAILS WHEN I FIND ONE THAT IS NOT TO MY TASTE I EXPLAIN WHY AND I DO IT IN A MANNER THAT IS NOT DISREPESPECTFUL OR MEAN SO SAY SOME OF THE DOMMES ARE LIKE THIS NOT ALL
