the attack wasn't politically motivated and anonymous isn't "left-wing" nor a "group."

Status: offline 		Haha- I love anonymous. While not particularly politically correct, the protests are hilarious. One of the scientology protests was particuarly entertaining- with cake, Vendetta masks, and confused onlookers.

For more info on them, check out Encyclopedia Dramatica.

It's less of an organized group, than an internet idea that goes around ruffling feathers for the laughs.

Anon has some nasty hackers- they've done stuff like this before.

I really, really doubt they did it for political reasons.

Here is a pretty good summary of their motivations.

 The actions taken by Anonymous, other than those taken during a "raid", do not seem to follow any specific agenda; members often simply take action for amusement. This is known within sites affiliated with Anonymous as "doing it for the lulz
