I've only seen the first half of the movie but a friend of mine explained the series to me. Sounds great. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm always in two minds about this sort of thing. On the one hand it's great to see what new adventures our beloved characters are going to get up to, but on the other hand a poor effort can cast a shadow over the existing original author's body of work (check out the mediocre Blade Runner novels for an example of how it can go wrong.)

Given the credentials of the author in the this case, though, he seems to be a good fit to pick up Adams' mantle.
