How about something like this, early enough to be seen in your profile statement : "You will come to me at your own expense, I don't want an incompetent sub. If I send thee home I will pay for that ticket". That statement needs a little work, I just came up with it on the fly, but it does sound Domly enough.

Won't help. Scammers only read enough to determine the sex and orientation of a potential victim, and often they don't even read that much. Keep in mind that these folks are sending out messages to anyone and everyone, as scamming is a numbers game. For every 500 messages sent, they might get one victim who will pay.

Windchymes has given very good advice. The 20something knockout with the professional-model photos who wants to throw herself at your feet on the second email is most likley a (male) scammer trying to play you. Realistic expectations and reading what they write (consistency isn't a common quality in scammers) will weed out most of them in a few emails, and a big dose of common sense will catch most of the others. There isn't a message board on the net that doesn't have its share of Nigerian/ Russian/ Romanian princes/princesses trolling for vics, so it's up to you to learn enough to sort the wheat from the chaff, so to speak.

Thus all profiles should be written in hieroglyphics to make them harder for scammers to read.

This site runneth over with profiles that are created using fake pics and for the purposes of misleading others. Sure its pathetic, annoying, discouraging, perhaps even infuriating, but I've learned a trick in how to deal with it... I've set out to develop a fetish for being lied to online and I've succeeded!

Now, instead of being put off by those who set out to deceive others, the whole process of being lied to just gets me really really hot!  [sm=passthelube.gif]

...no, not really...

In a car, at a bar,
On a plane, in a train,
In the top of a tree,
Or perhaps while kneeling on one knee

On a hill, in a mill,
On a spire, by a fire
There's excitement all about, you can feel it in the air
When you nibble and bite whilst you grab hold of her hair
