Thank you all for the welcome. We are both looking forward to our stay. We can tell already, it is a rather open and warm environment which we both like. However, from some responses already I can tell there is a lot of BS to shift through to find genuine folks. If anyone along the way has tips for us, we would appreciate it. I wonder how we can detect if they are real or not, when the very same could be asked of us! Will be digging through our pics to find one to share. Perhaps that will help (or make them run, haha). One of our biggest concerns when we thought about creating a profile was what we were going to find. Our goal was to find like minded folks/mentors/friends who could tell us the best way to get involved locally, help us better define our interests, introduce us to new things, etc. Heck, even just to find some friends who just enjoy a good margarita or beer and some laughs. In a few days we have already had to defend that we are not looking for by single male dominants who are looking to change our ways. How frustrating! So, if anyone is reading this post and would just like to exchange conversation with two folks---you have an open invitation to pop a hello over and introduce yourself. She (me) is always open to just finding girlfriends (sub, domme, switch) who can shoot the breeze, enjoy one another's company, and can enjoy girlie things together. He---He just follows me. Ideally, we would like to find couples so that we both have someone to learn and share with. As for those that wonder who they will be getting--I go by Kit, he goes by Dibs (explains the kink free profile name, eh?) Since we are sharing our profile, we will need to find a way to differentiate ourselves soon. I have given him the opportunity to go out and explore himself more here. I will always know when he is on here though. Anyway---to those that welcomed us----thank you! From those in MA, is there anywhere we can go to find a list of local events that are worth visiting for newbies? -Kit
