Frankly, I've gotten so fed up with all the Politics that I'm actually Eager for winter to get here for a change.  I usually hate the winter - the cold weather, ice storms, snow, lack of sunlight, holiday hype, etc.

This year, it's looking better and better - simply because it means the political threads ad nauseum will finally come to a rather abrupt halt.  The election will be over, folks will have had time to do their gloating or moaning respectively based on who won the election, and it'll be far to soon to start with the "I told you so"s from either side - good or bad - about the newly erected's record since they won't have had time to Develop a record As President.

Gods, what is the world coming to, that *I of All People should actually look Forward to the possibility of Christmas Snow??

I'm looking forward to Halloween.  You'd know that if you lived in my neighborhood.
I can avoid the politics if I want..so it isn't all bad.

For a diversion check out this site
I bought some cute little candy filled blood bags to hand out.

Hmm, for some reason the link didn't show up.

I NEVER look forward to winter.

A 40 minute 60 mile commute can turn into a 2 hour 60 mile commute.

I love that place. For um's class, there is a request for donations for treats. I just ordered some of those Marx Brother's looking glasses and a gazillion sparkly rings.

Indian summer is fine with me.

I have been making progress on my house. I am clearing out junk- starting upstairs...  working my way down. If I can make a certain progress each day- things will come together.

I got the wall in the sun room built.  AND painted.   I begun clearing the white room as marvin said he would come help me paint.
