I wonder what would happen if I called my mortgage place and TOLD them my new interest rate is now 3% [instead of 5.5]

I wonder what would happen if every single person who pays a mortgage did this

...alot of things in life ARE negotiable.

i doubt one would get anywhere on this one.

But if it were up to me- all the CM crowd could call the insurance- the utilities, and have the bill reduced.
