this is my very first posting and possibly my last. 

yes i'm confused.  i am owned.  my profile is not filled out, but it does state "do not message, not available" 

i have gotten several messages asking me "why are you here"  i see that other owned slaves are a part of collarme

the "do not message, not available" was put on there per my owner's request. 

is there a reason why i can't be here?  

if so, please explain and if necessary i will delete my account

No, there is no reason why you can't be here.  You can always put "just here for friends" or something like that.

I'm owned and I've been here for years.  Some people have this strange idea that this is a pick up joint.  They never come to the forums.  They never read in here. 

Don't let the HNGs (horny net geeks) scare you away.  You have as much right to be here as they have.  As the others have said....ignore and forget the fools around here.  Believe me...the internet is full of fools.

Many people, when they first come to CollarMe only know about the personal's part and see it only as a place where people can post their profile and hopefully meet compatable people through their profile.  The really have no idea that the message boards, chat rooms, games, etc. even exist.  I was a member of CollarMe for probably 2 years before I started getting involved with the message boards and other aspects of the site.  The people that ask, "Why are you here" probably don't even realize that there are other options available to them other than the personal's aspect and are wondering why you have a profile at a personal's site if you aren't looking.  I'm not saying that either you are they are right or wrong, only giving my opinion as to "why" they ask "Why?".  And yes, you are definitely welcome here.

As everyone has already said, you can be here you do not need anyone's permission other than your Owner (as you stated)
You can block all emails that will stop the bother of unwanted emails.

Putting it in a different light, maybe some of them are simply asking a question, not making some kind of accusation.
So... why ARE you here? Is it for the forums? because you like reading the profiles? because you have made friends (or hope to) here?
If that's not the tone they are going for, then yes, I'd block and delete. But not if it's just a friendly question.

Hi gerty.  I am new here too but it's clear a lot of the Dominants don't even read the profiles.   It appears some spam everyone - maybe just hoping one of the subs or slaves will reply to them and something will come of it.   Best to ignore that type I think.  Welcome to the club!

Just change your profile to state, "Please do not message me.  I am owned and only here to read the message boards.  All messages will be deleted."

Then delete them.

Like every one else here has told you- tell them to fuck off, block, delete, whatever. Most people really don't bother reading your profile at all, or if they do they ignore it. It happens to alot of girls on here, more so than the men I bet. Your name shows up in pink- that's all alot of people need to see. You can also set filters on your email to automatically block people if you go to Edit Profile, I believe. You're welcome here just like any one else- besides, the threads are more fun than the emails most of the time anyways.

You're showing up as new so you're getting messages from people who don't read your profile. They just scent fresh meat and send stupid mail hoping to get a bite. Block and delete.

I got a come on this morning from some guy on the other side of the country young enough to be my son. Sigh, delete, forget about him.

I get one of those, too, every now and then.  I do have to admit that I sit and grin while I'm deleting.

I agree that some of them may be confused about why you would have a profile and not want to be contacted.  Others get in a snit because they are unfulfilled and feel the need to be snarky.

If your Master agrees, another option is to simply hide your profile if you don't want messages.  You can still send message if you want, and you certainly would have full access to the boards.
