Alright, so i did not find the site i was looking for on the industrial strength velcro wrist restraints, however i did manage. As i said in my earlier post my Ladies who i will be playing with instructed me to make a few items for O/our first scene. i figured any sub worth his or her salt would not let any top start any scenes without the proper restraint gear. That in mind i went on a walk about in the local MegaloMart, to my great elation there between isles 10 and 11 on an end cap, i found the holy grail of my current quest. Yes it was an 18 feet roll of industrial grade, 2 inch wide, sticky backed Velcro (for joy). With my newly found prize in hand i spirited away to the check out lanes and made my purchase which set me back a whole 25 bucks...(This is cheaper than alot of restraints of far less quality i have seen for sale) Later i decided to try my hand at making these wrist restraints. i cut 4 pieces of velcro 2 from the rough side and 2 from the softer more wooly side. Carefully pealing back the paper fromt the sticky surface i bonded(heheh bonded) one of the wooly sides to one of the rough sides, in the sticky side to sticky side fashion, behold, i now have a velcro cuff that can be looped around a wrist or ankle. I repeated the same process with the other 2 strips. Now i have 2 cuffs. To join them i cut 2 more strips of about 6 inches 1 from the rough 1 from the wooly , and stuck them together. This cuff i looped between the other 2 cuffs, as a joining point. When i was finished i had what appeared to be a pretty solid very attractive if i may say so myself set of velcro cuffs. Now for the test. i cuffed myself with the restraints and pulled and tugged and twisted , to my great satisfaction (and i am sure to that of my Ladies in the near future) the bonds did not give way but held as tight as those of Sampson to the Philistines Temple's Pillars(well maybe not that tight but it sounded cool). At any rate i have conveyed to you the wisdoms of my under taking in hopes that it will help someone else. i hope also to share more of my adventures and mishaps in the way of (toy) making in the future.
