i am both tattooed and pierced as a submissive. i think that if a master/mistress cant handle it then they can move on, they are a part of who i am on the inside.
My Master and i discussed actually a tattoo that would symbolize my loyalty to Him.. we both spent quite a bit of time discussing what symbol would best represent it and still in the end decided to wait a bit longer for it. :) i think maybe if He/She doesn't wish for your appearance to change after you've been collared then maybe ask, and discuss.. but if before...then its your choice, not theirs.

Tattoos don't mean anything to me, particularly, being simply an observer.

Sometimes the effect can be kinda sexy, and some others might make me curious, and I tend to favor the old-fashioned sort of tattoo art, but generally it makes no difference to me if my partner's tattooed or not.

I know they have personal meaning for the wearer, and of course I'm going to be curious to know about that if I'm getting to know somebody.

It would be literally superficial of me to judge somebody because of them.
