I'm in a chastity device for the first time . I feel some pain around the ring and in my balls when walking . Also my balls are blue . Is this normal ?
And how can I reduce this discomfort ?

If your balls are blue, the ring is too tight

vascular flow is being compromised. I would suggest taking it off, and finding someone who knows something about how it is supposed to fit to look at it and you .  Don't leave it on!

i agree the return flow of blood is being compromised and the device needs to be removed for health and safety reasons. if it is left on too long the testicles may suffer from reduced perfusion and atrophy or sterility could result.

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE take it off.

And read about the process.

If the ring is too tight and on for too long it can vastly damage your penis and testicles! I don't know if your dominant applied it, or if they told you to do it and you did it on your own, but get it off RIGHT AWAY and then read up on safety techniques before attempting again. A lot of chastity devices are really too small for people and need to be adjusted to fit right.
