Jesus, when will conservatives stop crying about this? Talk radio, FOX--the media is more conservative with every passing moment.

And as Don Hewitt famously observed in the Wall St. Journal---people don't complain that the media is biased---just that it's not biased THEIR WAY.

But to the question---

The real problem is that in the last few decades, the media has stopped doing its job, and has become instead light entertainment.

Don't worry, man. The rapture will leave them all behind. And me too----personally, I can't wait; live will be so much more peaceful.

In the meantime, keep voting in "Conservatives" who ignore all fiscal restraint and play you guys like violins.

# The networks minimized Obama’s liberal ideology, only referring to him as a "liberal" 14 times in four years. In contrast, reporters found twice as many occasions (29) to refer to Obama as either a "rock star," "rising star" or "superstar" during the same period.

Obama is actually not that liberal. The Democrats could have picked much more liberal people to run and didn't.

Just like the Republicans could have picked a much more conservative person to run and didn't.

They both chose candidates who attempt to steer toward the center and I'm not honestly pleased by either of them.

Not to mention that McCain kept referring to Obama as a rock star.

But either way, media or McCain, it comes back to poor coverage far more than bias. The media today simply does a crappy job more often than not.

Although on a totally different note, I am currently watching Larry King interviewing Ahmadinejad - and it's pretty brilliant. And enlightening to hear. I recommend it for those that are awake enough.

I got enough of that clown today watching him speak at the UN and the press conference afterwards.  I will probably watch the replay of it, just to see how Larry treats the guy.

This is why you might find King's interview interesting - he certainly didn't seem like such a clown from where I was. Then again, I'm not hugely prejudiced against the guy, nor do I think Iran is the next most evil thing after Iraq  . (Not saying you do, just saying.)
