While i'll agree mirror sex is hot to watch..... i'm thinking during bdsm play, i'd much rather have my Dominant's attention on where his lashes were falling rather than my facial expressions!  I do enjoy being suspended in such a way i can be worked around 360.......you want to see my tears and hear me scream....come around to the front.

I haven’t made it a particular point to use mirrors to observe the face when I’m inflicting pain, but watching reactions is an intimate part of play. When I lash down hard with the wood cane on her ass, I immediately move to her face, touch her it, put mine beside hers, watch for her rare tears and see the change come over her as the wave of pain rushes through her body powerfully and then ends like a wave breaking into foam on the sand that may even bring a smile from her.

If I’m in the mood to have her ask for more, I’ll feel her struggle as she desires it, yet is somewhat afraid at the same time. Then another huge wave begins way out, breaks into a whitecap all over again, ends in foam and she can feel the cool wet sand under her feet with me beside her.

I've not chance to use a mirror, often thought about it though and as soon as I get the chance, the old full length jobby in the spare bed room's coming out to play.

One of the public parties in my area has mirrors along the wall.  Last time Q and I were there I used the mirror... not to watch him, but to watch a couple that was playing nearby.

The sub was screaming loudly and had shaken me out of the moment.  Usually when that happens I freeze up and start to feel really bad and can't relax into my own play at all.  I'm not a pain slut and prefer the types of spankings that leave me moaning rather than screaming.  Now, this couple was obviously having fun... but the screaming always creeps me out at bit.  It made things better to be able to watch them and know when the next scream was coming... and see what caused the scream.

A mirror was the first thing I bought for the studio...  I was so lucky to get a big one cheap at an auction!  Wonderful things, mirrors.  [:D]

I don't make the dinstinction between causing pain during sex or causing pain in other ways in front of a mirror.  I'm happy that you figured out why man made mirrors.  You didn't come across as bragging,  more like some self discovery on your part that you wanted to share. Unbeknownst to you quite a few of us knew about it already.  And the ones that didn't are all at the store rite now buying mirrors.

I had the opportunity to observe a scene in a dungeon with mirrored walls a month or so ago. It wasn't my scene, but one thing that struck me at the time was the perverse pleasure of getting to watch the stripes being laid -and- getting to see the fear/anticipation and agony on the bottom's face. Completely rapturous. I can't wait to do a cutting/piercing in that dungeon! Mirrored artistry!

I have a huge mirror on the top of my dresser directly across from my bed. My Master bent me over in front of it one night and then proceeded to spank me hard and repeatedly. I got to watch His expression as well as see the hits coming and I loved it! What fun...[:D]

Ever been in a department store...where the wedding gowns or formal dresses are? 
There are these amazing dressing rooms...360 mirrors...a raised pedestal in the middle of the room...and normally a bench inside.

I want a room like that!!

Might I suggest, the next time you are shopping with your loved one...that she goes and trys on a formal gown...just so you two can have the room...all to yourselfs for awhile!

I've always had a grand time...

While I agree that watching in a mirror is hot and a big turn on in some instances, I don't want to watch the next lash fall no matter what instrument He chooses to use.   I enjoy the anticipation of the next strike.  I don't like to be watching, knowing when it will happen.

I have to admit my prime fetish is Expressions, because it is one of my main modes of communication. 

It is always a delicious experience to see the expressions, and if you learn to read body language to the degree I can, it's very informative and helps you know what your doing has the desired effect :)
