John McCain has pulled out of Friday's scheduled debate with Barack Obama, citing the need to get to work solving the current economic crisis we've been reading so much about lately. What is your opinion as to the real reason he's doing this?

I think the real reason is obvious: He shrivels in the glorious light of Obama's awesome aura of hope! McCain's Trueshot Aura can't compare to that!

Offers to send McCain supporters paper bags to put over their heads when to go to vote.

So, I'll ask what Letterman asked: "Do you really need to suspend your campaign? Or do you say to your VP pick (whom you supposedly have every confidence in) Sarah, take over for awhile, I have to save the country! Be back in a week!" Yet, THAT didn't happen. From the timeline between Obama suggesting a joint statement, and McCain declaring he was off to DC to singlehandedly show these people how to do their jobs, it seems the idea of asking Palin to keep things moving wasn't even considered.

Hummmm.... why do you suppose that is?
