If you had taken the time to look, you would have found that I'm pretty consistant in my vocal dislike for this sort of discourse, no matter the leader involved. There are not as many "pointless noise" posts on this board coming from the right, for obvious reasons ... there are not as many right-leaning people here

Are you suggesting that before replying to posts, we each should research the poster's history? Come on.

I can offer that from the many threads I've read, you certainly were not rushing to the defense.

I don't suppose we can practically count them, but I doubt your last sentence is true either----or may the right-wingers just post more and shout louder. Dunno.

Would this be a sterling example of the level of discourse coming from the right....

He's famous for his insighful political analysis on B.com.

You didn't make a post ... you made an accusation.

Perhaps the moderators would make a special section where all these sorts of posters could go to exercise their freedom of speech.

What would we call it though? Off Topic Discussions is already taken after all, and it certainly needs a name.

I know ... how about 5th Grade Discussions? [;)]

Caitlyn takes everything very seriously.

Well, Sarah Failin' doesn't. While Biden made himself available to comment on the "debate", Failin' was - get this - in a bar in Philly.

I doubt that Mike ... comments like McSame really don't fit in the same category as something like drama queen. There is some truth in a comment like McSame ... the Senator did vote lock-step with the President right around 90% of the time.

Perhaps I'm being over sensitive. Perhaps I should just say nothing. Then again, perhaps I'm just sick of being governed by the guy who's supporters do the best job of name calling and spouting total bullshit.

Musicmystery -> RE: Drama Queen McCain Decides to Participate in Debate (9/28/2008 12:47:08 AM)

c,

The guy announces he's suspending his campaign to return to Washing to work on the financial crisis. He asks Obama to do the same, setting politics aside, and postponing the debate. Obama and he discuss starting with a join announcement. "And by the time I get back to my hotel room, he's on TV making his own announcement," Obama relates.

They go to Washington. They sit around a table. Finally McCain is asked which proposal he favors. He has no answer. Nothing. Nada. People roll their eyes, get up to leave, move on to real issues. Dems honor the Treasury Secretary's plea not to say anything to the press---and a few minutes later, the Republicans spill the beans.

And with nothing done and nothing in the can, we go to the debate.

Yup. Drama Queen. If this is "leadership," I pass.

Forgive me for correcting you, Mike, but if you're talking about this one: http://www.collarchat.com/m_2161656/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#2162143 ... it takes you to a Basement Jaxx song with lyrics by Siouxie! Completement different [8D] .

Both links took me to Cish Cash.....or maybe they both start out the same and change later?

Hmmm the usual McCain apologists are strangely quiet...could they at last be seeing the real man? Is it getting more and more difficult  for them to explain away his juvenile erratic behavior?

You've noticed as well [8D] ?

I'm not really a John McCain apologists ... but do understand why people choose to not respond when someone calls a United States Senator a "Drama Queen," or takes a man that was tortured in a prisoner of war camp and clearly has some physical challenges, "Emperor Palpatine."

I think there are some that view that as not worthy of response. Maybe posting that sort of thing in the Star online, or some other online trash rag ... you know, kind of put those things on the level they actually rate. [;)]

Bingo
