Is anyone out there a fan of the show LOST? It is my quilty pleasure- the only show I watch but I had to tape it this week and when I tried to watch my VCR ate the tape just moments before the end... What did Michael find out about the computer? What did the missing film reveal to John and Eko? HELP!!! I'm going nuts!

I don't do a lot of television watching so I'm not a fan. However, I'm sure we have the Season 1 dvd's on sale here already. You should get someone to send them to you.
Anymore it seem's they go straight to dvd.

That show is such fun! Utter escapism----or Sartresque melodrama. Either or!

The ABC Website for Lost has a synopsis of every episode. And there is also a lot of discussion on www.4815162342.com.

I will email you about your questions, so I dont spoil for anyone that hasnt seen it.

I've watched a few episodes in season one and I already have the entire thing figured out.

You have people stuck on an island that has secrets, hidden passages, powers to cause a crippled man to walk, super natural monsters and polar bears, and everyone on there reflects there past deeds/experiences that lead to guilt and how they ended up on the plane that took them to the island.

I figure it's a type of limbo/purgitory for the survivors. Atleast that's how it's most likely to end. The series itself will end up getting more twisted and stranger along with bringing out even more darker secrets of the characters because the writters are going to end up running out of ideas to keep the show interesting. Mysteriosly new members will show up, new invisible villians, various affairs, and more secret passages will keep comming and going.

The main messages or issues that the seris is bringing up is responisbility and telling people to think about your past and do the best to make amends before you end up LOST on an Island that resuce teams can't seem to find in over six month.

Just out of curiosity, I wonder if they're going to reveal what made the plane actually crash? After all, the reasoning could cause more issues to brought up in our society. Bombs, military practice cross fire, and drunken piolits are real life issues that we are most currently dealing with when it comes to plane crashes.

That's my take so there's no real reason to keep up with the story plot. I already know how it's going to end or aleast what the passangers are going to find out about themselves.

I realise this a fairly old thread but I'm wondering if we still have any ''Lost'' fans here. The new season starts on Weds and I think this a great series.

Any fans still here on CM?
