I am not sure if I offered this up before, but it is a very good old article.

If anyone can get out of the quick and easy mode to read it, I would like some opinions on it. The only problem it that it is scanned images in JPG format. You have to get it to display full screen or print full page.

I found it exceedingly interesting when it was released and still do to this day.

Yes, seven pages. I recommend you right click it and either open in new window or save target as. The best way to read it is to force each page to print full page. If you need a program that can do that get me on the other side and I will send you one.

I found it very interesting.

reply to page 1.   the birthrate here in a 97% white rural valley is high...we are expanding.  They like to make babies here.

Reply to page 2.

Good topic.

I have been on a kick to enable myself to move further out. You see, even now I here passing cars. One every 3 seconds- the rain makes it louder and the sound bounces off the flood wall. I hear this day after day after day after day.  It is driving me nuts!  The living room is almost at the sidewalk which is next to the busy street- so I can almost reach out and touch the passing cars.
Even tho it is a double corner lot.  Then factor in the barking dog- the loud commotion of playtime and diesel fumes which feel like being stuck in traffic right behind a dump truck.

3.

How the heck could I tell per my adrenal. I am on a chemical soup of meds ,  2 come to mind- the ADHD, and Depression.

Gauge an area is easy.  In the local newspaper- follow the obituaries.

That sounds odd but it makes sense.  I noticed people here live to be old farts...where as in Chicago  the obits have many more who pass at 60ish.

7.  LOL- I for sure have German blood!!!

On personal space... I tend to insist on more of it then typical.

the proximatey thing- wouldn't then prisoners have large organs???

When I lived in a metro- my facial muscles were tight. They loosened when I moved rural. The mask thing.

On crowdedness tho- Tokyo, Mexico city and several other metros have a higher concentration per sq mile then in US.  So they would have flawed adrenal and bigger organs too??????????????

I recall being miffed at a food line in Atlantic city.  The others in line kept edging closer. This was very annoying, one reason was some cultures do not shower daily...so there is body oder.  Combine this with colognes and chatter and it seems icky,

They have been working on the train track here all summer. all summer we hear the whistle.  But most do not notice it since the TV is on. then new sirens are more bold. Brigher street lamps, shocking yellow road lines, constuction men wearing glow in the sark shirts,
factor in strobe lights on busses, beeping on vehicles backing up, car alarm sirens, loud bike mufflers- kids with the radio base car stereo pounding,  the endless barking dog, the screaming people biking and skatebaording on ramps on the side street., the back neighbor tuing his amplifier for his band, the phone ringing....

and that means stress

Hunk, you're the only one eh ? (so far)

Perhaps you have not heard my views on homosexuality. I was never homophobic, nor did I ever participate in any Fag bashing, although I did think it was wrong. That was years ago.

I thought it wrong because if everybody was homosexual there would be no more people. My thinking has changed obviously, and I'll tell you why.

First of all that article is thirty years old. I read it as a teenager and more recently my Mother dropped off a bunch of books. That particular article is from a circa 1970s supplement to what was called the Young People's Science Encyclopedia, something I read almost cover to cover.

A few years ago I was working on the Jose job, to not reveal the last name. Jose was a flaming homosexual, and had a flair "to die for". We turned his house into a palace practically. Well, during the job we would be at the house working and he would get home from work. Sometimes we had a few beers and eventually the topic got around to homosexuality. I gave him my rationale for my opinion and he responded that "Nobody would choose this". Being about my age I knew exactly what he meant, and concluded that there are stronger forces at work here than we can manage. Nature is at work.

At that time my mind went back to that article, and I like to think that I figured something out. This was nature's response to overcrowding. Whether it is induced by societal factors or some sort of force we have yet to understand is irrelevant. Nature is making a correction. There is going to be X percent of the population that does not reproduce. There are too many people, go figure.

I figure that nature has worked over the milennia otherwise we would not be here. You can't fight something like this. How can you ? If you look at a good looking Woman and don't get turned on, what the heck can you do ? Like me, if there is nothing kinky involved I have a hard time. Simple straight up sex is not the be all and end all.

For many it is. All they can think about. They work to get a cool car to pick up chicks. They get all spiffed up to pick up chicks. It is all that is on their mind. Anyone who doesn't think their way is abnormal in their eyes.

The animals in those studies reported in the article seem to make me think of the saying "alone in a crowd".

Interesting to note in that article is that the mice that isolated themselves from the goings on around them were the healthiest. Could this paralell the reason for humans to move out to the suburbs or stix ? To get some liebeschraum ? The article though said that the term is not directly translatable, but I have heard that it translates to living room. Not as in your livingroom, I mean room for living.

Perhaps the sika deer could not isolate themselves in this way.

I am not fond of the implied link between homosexuality and pedophilia, when they stated in the same breath that sexual attacks upon the same sex and "juveniles" occurred. But this is the thinking. We all know they are two different things, but people don't look at it this way.

There is a thread, I think it is "Jail for BDSM porn" or something like that in Alternative in the news. The link takes you to cleveland.com and there are a bunch of comments there. There is a question about whether the guy had kiddie porn or not, which has not been resolved to my satisfaction. But the comments below the article refer to BDSMers as freaks and all that, I mean some of them downright nasty. That is acceptable I guess. I have considered going to cleveland.com and posting a rebuttal to these narrow minded morons.

Perhaps in nature, sexual assault on the same sex and "juveniles" may happen at the same time in a species' history. My point is that it does not make them the same thing. They may be different manifestations of the same force of nature, but they are vastly different. The only thing the two manifestations have in common really is that there will be less offspring.

Perhaps kink is another manifestation of the same force. Look at chastity belt sales, and I mean for recreational use, even if it is for 24/7. We need to recognize the difference between these things.

The religious types and some others see sex as bad if it is non-procreational in intent. Who are they to tell us ? The vanilla straight people seem to paint us all with one brush. They seem to think that liking to be tied up, or spanked or something like that is the same thing as being into pedophilia or beastiality, and we all know it is not so.

They do not. I included in an email earlier that most wars are fought for gain, what about the rest ? The rest are fought because of fear. Fear of the unknown. They do not know.

People inherently fear the unknown, and if a spaceship came and ETs were getting out and speaking English, I would be happy to engage them in a conversation. Others would dial 911 faster than the buttons on the phone could pop back up. I think that if they intended harm to us, with their superior technology it would have been done already.

Realize the ramifications of this irrational fear. Realize that it is illegal for a US Citizen to have contact with ETs. Know why ? FEAR. What's more if they are familiar with our government and I make friends with them, the government could be in big trouble. That is fear. Going after Iran is fear, alot of things are borne from fear. Fear is a powerful force for those who embrace it, yet try to cover it up with supposed strength. They think it obscures their true motives, but that doesn't work for me.

Act tough, that way you might avoid a conflict in which you would have to prove yourself.

I should go put that in in the Human nature thread, see what they think.

Long enough, I have alot more rabble rousing to do.

The answer to this glands retaining harmony through self destruction theory portrayed in that document above would be Africa.

What conclusions are we to draw from this? I'm surprised they didn't also prove over population was the largest cause of terrorism since they put all the other ills of this world including paedophilia and cancer squarely at its door.

Understood T.

I did alot of soul searching- and I kept waiting to snap out of the gay phaze. When it did not happen- I prayed.
No one would choose to be [not] normal...(a freak of sorts)

That might explain my quest to get away from town- and subdivisions.

Man oh man. I am wearing white pain on me. I attempted the front bedroom. I am going to post pics to show what a nightmare it is.  Even a junky house- there MUST  be a way to convert a junly house on a busy street to a junky house on a dead end... even with the mortgage mess.

Raech, can you imagine a world with perhaps one fifth of the current population ? Give that some thought.

Yeah I'd get a seat on the train. Which group should we exterminate first?

Group ? I was thinking at random like nature would do, but I do have a better idea. Start with the politicians and lobbyists.

I understand the equilibrium idea i.e. nature always finds a balance. Like here we had the fox hunting debate with people in the country saying they needed to hunt foxes to keep the numbers down which was ridiculous because

Too many foxes = not enough food = less foxes. That's nature’s way it's not ours we have compassion and can never stop others from having the rights we enjoy such as procreation and the right to exist. In China they’ve tried population control this way but it isn't effective. I don't think nature is going to start eradicating people in highly populated areas due to the fact it hasn't happened thus far in highly populated areas except with things such as bird flu and the bubonic plague.

Sounds like he means he has murdered German tourists and keeps jars of their blood on a shelf in his house but that is because I'm a sick person and enjoying thinking the worst.

Raech, the point of pointing out the physiological difference was that the food was always plentiful and they were all nourished adequately and equally.

OK, what people just don't realize is that the actual ideal life expecancy has gone down. Don't give me your statistics.

What happened is that in the past more people died of other things than old age, which of course brought the average down. People were seventy years old and still working the field, but it's doubtful they ever had a birth certificate let alone a death certificate. On certain environments they could live to be 90 and possibly had never seen a doctor, except for the time when they got shot or something. These people existed and some still do. There are still people alive who never got a birth certificate until they were deemed eligible for social security or something. There are a few who don't even know how old they are, and I don't mean dementia, just literally never knew and never cared. There are very few left worldwide, as far as we know.

There were many diseases that were uncured in years past as well. What did they have, quinine ? Many people did die. And of course some died of heart problems, strokes and the like, but I think the incidence was alot lower in comparison to the other ways one could meet their demise. Grandma died after we brought all the clan over for Christmas last year, well they brought in germs her immune system wasn't used to and there were no anti-biotics like today. People died.

Nobody made this up, even when population got dense in some areas, you had guys that strapped a new fridge on their back and carried it up stairs to the fourth floor. They kept working as long as they could. I worked for a guy who delivered nice new fridges in the 1990s by himself at age 57 or so.

We are getting weaker. We might be able to bench press more or curl more, do more flips or whatever, but we are weak compared to our counterparts in the past. If this keeps up one day someone will get full disability from screwing their back up, opening a jar of mayonaisse !

What causes this ? Those sika deer all had good nutrition, and indeed some people eat right, watch the carbs and all that, really do well and are not all that healthy. Then another person could live their life on fast food and be seemingly healthy for a long time. They might not let you know about their tupee, false teeth and all that. But they have energy and strength.

What those researchers tried to do was to isolate one component of natural law. By experimentation they were to prove or disprove. Every specimen was nourished, and the chips fell where they did.

Can it be that overpopulation is the real problem, and that many can't see that because of being born into it ?

T

(I know this is chopped up a bit, sorry)

I see! It's nothing to do with 'blood'. Thank you for clarifying this :-) .

So how does this relate to human behavior ? Well Raech is right, it seems we should see those glandular changes in humans. But do we ? Have we examined the size of the adrenal glands of say, Tibetan mountain Men ? In other words are we accepting as normal something that is not ?

I only offer that as a possibility, there may be no difference. Plus possibly our adrenal glands are sufficiently developed to handle the load because of generations of conditioning. The prisoner comment was also valid, but then do they go through prisons taking all the prisoners in for a CAT scan to see if their adrenal gland has grown ? There are some things for which data simply do not exist, and likely never will.

Even with no change in glandular size, it is not disproven that overcrowding has an effect on humans. I doubt there are many drive by shootings in the Yukon Territory.

But what is a drive by shooting ? It is part of a war, fought for resources. Whether it is drugs, drug customers or whatever. There are probably some times when someone is just pissed off, but then usually that is about something tangible.

They used to speak of White flight from the inner city areas, but it is no longer that, it's Black flight too now, I guess it's anyone with the money flight. People will drive thirty miles each way to work every day to get some of that "room for living". Why ?

I think the reason we don't see physiological changes in humans is partly because of our enhanced learning process. Talk about sheeple all you want, but we are taught our necessary social skills in a different way than animals. One big difference is language.

Even with the conflict in information and some degree of unreliability of same, I don't think we can disregard the effects of overcrowding. Overcrowding, I believe, has a negative impact on the human experience, and I dare anyone to show any evidence to the contrary.

As far as the German blood, there are plenty of people with German blood all over. The researchers were talking about those in Germany I think. Hunk may want wide open spaces, but not being raised in Germany I doubt blood has anything to do with it. I am ¼ German and I have no desire for more space or a bigger yard. To me it's just more to clean and mow. However I do insist on my own structure, that is, house. I detest apartment living. I doubt that has anything to do with blood either.

This is where race comes out of the picture. They took sika deer to that island, what if they were mika deer, rika deer or Aldi's brand deer for that matter. The results would've been pretty much the same I suppose.

Yup, my German blood must be pretty weak. They strive to keep noise out, while I leave my windows open for as long as possible. I can hear things in the neighborhood, like a friend's car or motorcycle pulling up.

According to the article, the Japanese, at least of that time would consider themselves to be in private if they hung a piece of paper in between them and another. I still don't think this has anything to do with blood. Societal conditioning is in play here, something something of which animals have very little if any.

I still maintain though, that overcrowding has a negative effect.
