*I have found mine in the freezer before.* *DVDs do work without the remote, unless you're female of course.* Best thing is to start another project that will please your master, like reorganising his CDs, his movies or something. When you're not looking, these things tend to give themselves up. If not, you have a nice organised alternative thingy for him to use.
