FR: Living organisms are not stupid. They follow pretty well-grooved biological and social imperatives. Dogs can be trained. Heck, even as low a life form as a flatworm can be "trained" to react to a bright light. So why the reoccurring knee-jerk reaction here that the men in question are "just stupid". Maybe they are not stupid at all. Maybe they are employing a time-worn selection strategy, and also are telling you exactly what they think of you, and exactly what value you have in their life. He is telling you exactly what he wants. If you reject him, he'll move on to the next available (or perceived available -- usually a guy using this sex strategy isn't really picky) woman. Consider that you selected these men. How else did you find yourself in a situation where this suggested intimacy is even possible? Maybe your selection strategy needs to be reevaluated? quote:
Notsweet: Well, is there a way to get this out into the general population? It does NOT seem to make women feel better to be told this, and it DOES seem to make them never want to see the guy again. I mean, how unfeeling and insensitive can someone be without being a sociopath? (emphasis added) Now you are getting close.

"When you wake up, Pooh," said Piglet, "what's the first thing you say?" "What's for breakfast? What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
