I had a sub who I was going to initiate in our local coven and I meditated over it and was given the name "Gwynn".   For some reason, I never did the initiation.  Two years later, I was visiting 500 miles away and the local high priest got called to work just before a circle and the high priestess asked me if I'd sub for him, which I was of course happy to do.  Part of the circle was the initiation of her latest new boyfriend.  We got to the point where I held the sword to his shoulder and asked the High Priestess: "And by what name shall he be known to the Watchtowers?"  and she shrugged.  So I looked down at the new covener and repeated the Charge:  "And by what name shall thou be known to the Watchtowers?"  and he shrugged.  Great.  Then I remembered the name I'd been given.  "Henceforth thou shalt be known to the Watchtowers as Gwynn."  I dubbed him.  Everybody in the circle was silent, male AND female alike.  Waiting for something.  I went back through the initiation ceremony feverishly in my mind.  What had I forgotten?  "What's wrong?" I asked, sheepishly.  "You're not kidding?" the initiate whispered, looking up.  "Gwynn.  G-w-y-n-n, a knight of the Round Table, perfectly legitimage craft name..."  The High Priestess whispered, "he doesn't know."  Then everybody (especially the new coven member) began to laugh hysterically.  After they stopped, the High Priestess walked over to me and murmered.  "I call my snatch 'gwen'."  -- "Oh.  OH!" I responded.  "She sure has a sick sense of humor, doesn't She."  "She sure does" the high priestess laughed.  And her (temporary) new boyfriend was stuck with the name.
