Rule 1: This is The Game.  You are always playing it.

Rule 2: Any time you think of The Game, you have just lost.  Once you have lost you cannot lose again until you forget about the game (generally about 10 minutes)

Rule 3: If you should lose The Game you must immediately announce your loss to one and all.  "I just lost the game!" will suffice.

The goal is to get everyone on earth playing the game.  Enjoy!

PS: You just lost the game.

OK, I don't know if it's because I've had very little sleep the last few days and I'm up before the butt crack of dawn this morning or the fact that this made no sense whatsoever, but either way, it makes me say, "What the hell?"  [&:]

This is one of those slow boils.  Somewhere down the line a week from now, a month... who knows when?  You'll think of The Game.  You can't help it.  It'll just pop in there as one of those random pieces of trivia and when it happens you'll laugh and laugh.  Then you'll say "I lost the game!" and people will ask "What game?" and - just like that - the meme will infect another unwitting soul.
