Ok I really have searched for this question but can't find an answer.... I bought my Master an o-ring gag so it could keep my mouth open while he penetrates my throat.

We've found two problems with it:
1. At 1' 1/2 inches it is too small... he can fit if he really forces it but it rubs too bad
2. It doesnt protect him from my teeth.

It is a little tight fitting in my mouth but I know I can handle a little larger.

Any thoughts? I see mouth guards that protect teeth but I dont see them any bigger than 1 1/2"

Help!

How handy are you (or is he)? This brings to mind an idea I've had for a few years, but never gotten around to the fabrication stage. If you could take two plastic athletic mouthguards, one for the lower jaw and one for the upper, and devise something that would sort of chock them open at the back, it would have the effect of blocking the mouth open while shielding the teeth and allowing the wearer to close his or her lips entirely around whatever hot, throbbing cylindrical object happens to be slamming in and out of it. In theory, it shouldn't be too hard to do... just glue a couple of pieces of carefully shaped semi-rigid plastic in between the back ends of the two mouthguards.

Ah, hell, I'll go out and buy a couple of mouthguards tomorrow or the next day and see if i can make it work. If it does, I'll let you know.

I'm not sure it would take care of the protecting the teeth but when I read your post I immediately thought of one of those "speculum" type things the dentist uses to keep a persons mouth open, you know, sort of like a reverse pair of tongs with two flat coated parts so it's gentle on the teeth. I'd personally want to be careful what I clamp onto/in between my teeth because dental work isn't pleasant or fun... I'm suprised there isn't a bondage equip inventor who's devised something really clever to solve this.

Dental gags are useful for holding the mouth wide open and providing an opening wide enough for many things.  We have one that doesn't have a strap, but I would recommend using a strap to keep it securely in place.

But the problem with dental gags is that you can't completely close your lips and create suction, though - right? Wouldn't something entirely internal be the best solution?

True, but suction isn't always the goal.  Sometimes you just want a clear path to the throat.  I'm speaking as a Domme who enjoys violating my boy's mouth.

Wow thank u for the great responses. Yes, no need for suction just an open throat unable to push back. Master and i have read the posts and come up with the idea of using the dental gag with a thin mouth guard - kind of like when the dentist gives them to u for teeth whitening to protect from the teeth. This is why i love this site :)

Update: I tried my idea today, and it works great. Picked up two moldable plastic mouthguards for 2 bucks apiece, formed one to fit my lower jaw and the other to fit my upper jaw. Propped 'em open with two pieces of rubber flooring  underlay, cut to size. The only problem is that the flooring material isn't the ideal solution, but the basic theory is sound. Once it's inserted, there doesn't seem to be any way for the person wearing it to dislodge it without reaching in and plucking it out. The teeth are completely covered with soft plastic, and the path to the throat is wide open and virtually unobstructed. When i figure out the best material to hold the two pieces open, I think I'll have something here.

You might be able to get some dental bite blocks online.  They are designed to fit in the mouth to prop the jaw open.

I've been wanting to try the mouth hooks they make for rope bondage.  One goes on each cheek and you tie them back to spread the mouth open.  No Ring To Penetrate!  You can make a 2 in. ring mouth gag, but it might be too big for you.  I recently made one with a 2 in. ring and a smaller rubber ball in the middle of that.  The straps wrapped around the ring and there were screws placed inside the fold and into the ball on either side.  The straps were riveted into place.  The ring acted as a nice lip squisher between it and the ball.  No penetration with this one, but it was a nice ring combo.
