There have been numerous times when I didn’t get what I wanted in life. Of course, I’ve been disappointed and hurt. But usually, when I put some distance or time between events, I can look back a ‘see’ the situation much more clearly. More often than not, I’m glad I didn’t get the very thing that I thought I wanted. Thanks for the thoughts. SGS

Forgive the theatrics, but what do you do when something you profoundly want passes you by? =========== i have seldom ever had anything in life i wanted...... when you figure it out...let me know... by the law...it says...you are entitled to the-pursuit-of-happiness.. no where does it say you are entitled to HAVE IT! ask any judge take care

Learn what you can from the experience, and try to apply that new found knowledge next time around. And, yes, despite how you are feeling right now, thee will be a next time.
