Status: offline 		Biden sits on a train with a woman media person from CBS and pontificates on "what makes a leader".  He discusses in his usual profound, self-assured BS tone..."FDR was a leader...when the crash happened in 1929 he went on TV and addressed the nation"!!!!! Only problem idiot, is that FDR was not president at the time...Mr. Hoover was, and TV was still a lab experiment.

I wonder if Sarah Palin had said something like this if Wolf Blitzer, and Couric, Matthews and Ubarmann would not beat on her for days.  Since the media is in the pocket of the liberals, this comic statement by the VP nominee of the democrat party is buried.

         I'm confused by your meaning here, Muse.  Are you suggesting that any conservative media voice is more than should be allowed, or that conservative ideas are so powerful that they automatically dominate regardless of numerical disadvantage?

That aside, can you explain to me why GE, the biggest Defense contractor in the United States, which owns and controls NBC, is in the pocket of the Liberals?

The Big Media are all owned by Big Money, corysub. This constantly repeated very silly claim that America's biggest and most influential corporations are a Liberal stronghold makes me question the critical thinking skills of the people who parrot the lie.

Have you noticed, corysub, that all those people on your television, radio, newspapers, and websites who are telling you that the Liberals control the media are ... Conservatives in the media?

Nice of those media-controlling Liberals to have hired those guys, huh?

I have heard that nonesense for years..."what liberal media, it's owned by big corporations"!  Those big corporations are mostly owned by institutions and mutual funds (General Electric 58%) and INDIVIDUAL INVESTORS..in their stock portfolio, 401K's IRA's, kids custodial accounts, widow accounts, etc etc.  This is NOT Rockerfeller, Ford,
Carnegie, Mellon or J.P.Morgan sole owned companies that dominated the economic landscape of our country.
You have to be totally deaf not to hear the liberal bias of CBS News, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC as well as most of the writers for the Associated Press.  It's not only how they slant the news to the left...it's the news they leave out and don't give to the public that might in some way damage their leftist agenda.  Sure you can mention FOX, but that is one channel on TV.  The public is starved for insight into what is going on and talk radio is super popular for that reason with tens of millions of people tuning in to listen. 

You must have seen the Biden idiocy on youtube referring to the leadership exhibited by FDR as President during the 1929 CRASH in an address to the people of America on TELEVISION!!!.  You don't see that constantly run on the aforementioned stations...but I must have seen Palin's faux pax answering Couric's question on the Supreme Court a dozen times over the past day, and twice this morning already..and it's only 8:00 AM.

No sir...maybe those college kids fawning over the man for Illinois who offers Hope...but could not tell you one thing he has done in his lifetime to mildly suggest he has the experience to be President...We are probably going to elect the head of the local debating team as President because style has become more than substance in how the populace seems to measure worth. 

What makes you people mesmerized by this charismatic radical leftist think he will be able to..or worse, WANT to do, anything he is reading off his well written speeches?  Are you that radical yourselves, or worse, that naieve? As  has been said in the past, "You can't fool all of the people all of the time, but if you can fool them ONCE, it's good for four years in the White House"

.......it's only relatively leftist. And that's the issue. Take an extreme right wing position and virtually anyone is to your left. You seem to take issue with news outlets attempting to find a middle ground.
The right wing media is just as selective, just as biased as any hypothetical left wing media.

i like the BBC.....and for this specific reason. In the UK every sitting government has accused it of being biased against it, left or right. Now that's the sort of media i want to see.....media that makes governments uncomfortable.
