Aren't men in 'service' positions amazing sometimes? Waiters, box boys, bartenders.... My favorite is bellmen at fine hotels. When I used to travel a lot on business sometimes I'd be at the same hotel 7 - 14 days -- got to know the bellmen well. I'd also start off by having him bring my bags up and give him a HUGE tip and flirtaciously tell him I expect a pleasant smile or to be greated as "miss" instead of "ma'am" or what not. I'd look forward to seeing him at the door each morning and calling down to have him bring up packages. Ahh, the good old days!

Why do they hire such good looking bellmen? Has anyone else noticed that?

Goodness! i usually am totally dense when it comes to someone hitting on me. Flirting is one thing... but oh, this guy is probably having as much fun as you are!

But really, i would suggest the next question be: "So, are you over 18?"

Then go buy magic shell, and when he asks, just tell him you are just looking for someone to use it on. Ice will have to be involved.

I have noticed the waiters at Carrabas tend to rev me up. And I don't just mean my local resturant. Any time I eat there in another city, I always get a handsome and charming and very service-friendly type man. I realize they are looking to score tips, but do I care?

(A little secret. Myself and a gal pal once invited a Carrabas waiter and his friend back to our hotel during a girls weekend out of town. She left a fifty dollar bill as a tip. And can you believe -- they didn't show. She blamed me saying I was too aggressive and scared them.)

In this case, she was only teasing. Such overt rejection must be explained away SOMEHOW, after all. She is shy and therefore LOVES me being aggressive. She is also blonde and beautiful, and I have no problem using her as "bait."

I think that this type of in your head objectifying of others happens all the time to everyone (maybe not EVERYONE, I certainly haven't met EVERYONE).

That's our minds and our groins working. As long as we don't force ourselves or what in our heads onto others or treat them as objects by ordering them around non-consensually then I think its great to allow yourself to fantasize.

I mean, now you can look forward a bit to shopping there more often....

Ok...thought I was the only one confused. I thought I was missing something since I hadn't had any coffee when I read those God replies. Allrighty!
