I was wondering if sub/slave surrenders thier view on politics to their dom/master Do Doms/masters require it from those that serve? Does any one care? Or is this subject taboo even for our likes? insert proper gender preference where desired

We're both antiBush although for different reasons. Neither of us is enthused by either candidate. And no he doesn't tell me who to vote for. Being in a small town the position that really gets people's hackles up is who to vote for to run the Town Highway Department. Someone incompetent there causes major difficulties.

Absolutely. I am the law, but you have a right of appeal on the grounds of contract content. Edited to add: we all submit to something; whether that something be Mother and Father, government, a boss at work or religion. There's no greater stake through the heart than your voice being quelled. In what is a quintessentially liberal philosophy, everyone has the right to their voice being heard, but rules have to be in place to preserve order and security

Well I seem to have originally posted in the wrong forum sorry about that since this was a general bdsm question i asked it there and it seems to have been moved here since I used a poll. Whatever I expected more posts than what has been done. It looks like this is one area control is not taken or given for the most part. Not that I have anything against or for the view point of it I just wonder why it is such. Me I never gave it much thought until watching the debates and just started thinking about it so I created this post. Any view points on why people will surrender other such things but not this? or Dominate someone in such away that objectification is common and spankings are fun yet this is not up for control. Reason why; people who are rabidly conservative or liberal would have sought out a partner who thinks like them. I'm an old New York liberal and I am not compatible with conservatives. Other reasons; people who believe strongly that people ought to vote are likely to believe that people should be informed and make up their own minds. Also, the ones who don't vote themselves don't care if their partners vote.

like religion, we keep politics out of our D/s dynamic however i know His political views and vice versa. we're both Obama supporters ...Daddy has contributed to his campaign. on the flipside, my pet and i are opposite ends of the political party system yet we do share the same political views in certain issues like immigration.
