It's ok, pam. It's my own necrothread which is why I bumped it. We have been discussing doughnuts today, so I gave the thread CPR and a slap on the ass. It's all good, we don't think doughnut threads really have an expiration date. *winks*

There are these round hole in center donuts, no coating on the outside, with a delicious yummy light and fluffy cream in them that I have only ever seen in Western PA where I grew up. Every once in awhile I can find them here in Allentown but not often.

Those things are so amazing that I have to run away from them.

Oh, dear. This thread is making me hungry.

Since i moved, i no longer have access to the within walking distance mom & pop doughnut shop/cafe that used to be just down the street from me. Go get a doughnut or two with coffee in the morning (and they opened eaaaaaaaaaarrrrllllyyyy, too), and walk back to my apartment. i miss that now.

Any kind chocolate doughnut is still my favorite, though! With possibly powdered, caramel glazed or cinnamon sugar a close second.

Doughnuts! I love all kinds of doughnuts, in fact, I've never met a doughnut I didn't eat

The last one I had was a fluffy, soft, white powdered doughnut, filled with a light fluffy chocolate cream. :thud:

Ok, So I read this whole thread and only one person even mentioned any on my top three... Sheesh... am I weird? lol

Dunkin's Peanut butter filled with the powder sugar on them are my absolute favorites... But I swear they don't put near as much peanut butter in the filling anymore...

The blueberry ones are a close second.

And my third choise would have to be the chocolate cake ones with the toasted coconut on the outside... Oh So yummy!!!
