quote:
if you don't want anyone to know about it, Don't Do It!!! This kind of attitude disturbs me. Imagine you are Jewish living in Nazi Germany and many of your friends have disappeared. You know that practicing your religion could mean death or imprisonment for you and your children. Would you want people to know about your religion? If not, would that mean that you should stop being jewish? Now, before someone goes on some childish and ill-thought rant about how they would be open about being Jewish because that is the only way to support fellow Jews and being secretive adds to the problem, let me say "BS" right now. It's fine to stand up for what you believe and possibly sacrifice yourself, but saving the lives of your family and children might mean a lot to some people. People aren't much getting killed these days for being perverts, but it does happen even now. Many people have lives outside the scene that they have worked very hard on and that would be severely damaged by an outing. I will never abide that sort of behavior.
