I've had one conversation about this with a bi fem lover. She explained that it was "harder to do" than she thought it would be but with some practice she seemed to get the hang of it quickly enough. I expect there are some that take to it quickly and/or naturally, others that struggle with it but manage to work it out, and others still that never do quite make it to the top of the snow covered mountain.
As for me I've always had one so using it is completely natural. Whether I use it well is something for others to determine.
I've always found it humorous that "strap on" spelled backwards is "no parts."
