The McCain/Palin efforts to obstruct justice just took a bad turn.

7 of her personal aids that before refused to cooperate with the investigation, have submitted to the subpoena and will now testify.

Why has Palin & Co. tried to kill the investigation?
.
Better question, why is McCain trying to kill the investigation? He`s running for president, this doesn`t look good.

Better still, why did McCain hire someone with an abuse of power investigation already going on?Doesn`t seem very,...... presidential.

One thing they have though ,is impeccable timing.

The lobbyist for Fanny/Freddy as McCain`s campaign manager and Palin`s troopergate problems that won`t die and less than 4 weeks to election day.

You know though Owner? I dont think she has any business whatever being a candidate, but I really dont see what the big hoo-har with most of this is? As the second but last paragraph indicates - conflicts of interest in such a small place are bound to be recurrent - and would affect anyone that was mayor.

The zoning thing is a bit suspicious, but then anyone would have tried the same thing to get round it, whether they were mayor or not - and would likely have been approved to do so mayor or not, on the strength of some personal acquaintance or closer relationship in a small community.

All true Lady E.

But put in the context of at 1st cooperating and then stonewalling the investigation, and the obvious attempt to have her own staff obstruct said investigation ,on top on 8 years of official misconduct and obstruction by BushCo.,then it matters a bit more.
