I've actually found the opposite. How sensitive I am to the pain varies based on how turned on I am when it begins--if I'm very excited it barely registers as pain, in the same way that rough sex kinda hurts, but in a good way. In any case, I usually find myself increasingly turned on as the spanking progresses, and thus the pain remains manageable, no matter how long it goes on for.

Um...yes, definitely agree with this. Can't say I've experienced barbed wire (yikes), but knotted - yes. Beaded - yes. Big fat rubber - yes. Thin and hard - yes. Ouch ouch ouch ouch.

Also depends on how it's being managed. Sometimes the goal is to hurt, and the person really does know what he/she is doing...and...ouch.

As for spankings...it also depends on how they're administered. Erotic, full effort, and everything in between. My experience with bare handed spanking is minimal, but until recently I have always received reeeally hard and painful ones. The last one I received was so erotic I was buttah...

Now from my perspective, I would say he may not have known what he was doing since it didn't hurt.  If you know how to use a flogger then you can make it hurt and even slice open skin.  I have been marked by a flogger.

It really isn't just about whether the person knows how to use one or not, it is whether the person also intends to cause pain or not.  He can take a soft suede flogger and drive me to my knees with just one strike.  He can take the same flogger and make it feel like knives slicing across my back or give me a nice massage.  Since he is a sadist, the massage sensations are only used to settle me down for more intense pain.

If you have the intent and the ability, then you can cause significant pain with a flogger.

Try surfing the net for spanking clips...there are home videos...some sexy stuff if you are lucky enough to come across it but also a lot of even more cringeworthy stuff...I would like to add though that i do not think a spanking necessarily has to hurt at all, it depends on the players.

Status: offline 		A porn movie is intended to be erotic, so it shows things that "mainstream" porn buyers will like.  The image of anyone's arse being spanked until it is purple is not attractive or sexy.  It is also not "sexy" to see someone truly screaming in pain and begging with snot running out their nose and druel falling from their lips.  These things are not something anyone would really want to see in a movie, they are things that are done to maintain the dynamic of a certain part of a D/s relationship.  No, the actress wasn't getting a serious corrective spanking, she was putting on a show.  A corrective spanking does not make one's butt turn a little pink or even red.
