No tour.. just dinner.  But I was seated and was drawn to re-seat myself in another area.  Seems it was in the most haunted part of the restaurant. I asked our waiter if the stories of the hauntings were true and his eyes got saucer-shaped.  I told him to please come back to the table when he had some time to share his experiences :)  He did.

One of these years, I'd love to spend 24 hrs in an actual haunted house. it's the curiosity in me that wants to experience first hand the hauntings of a place and not just by word of mouth from friends!

There used to be a tv show called haunted Canada that I used to watch . The premise of the show was the host traveled to different haunted places across Canada.  He'd recount the history of the building, the types of hauntings which was experienced and if at all possible interviewed people who witnessed the paranormal incidents.

Near me, one can spend the night at the haunted Mansfield prison. These things don't really phase me, but I love to hear the stories.

I'm with you guys...I'd love to spend a night in some of the places I've read about being haunted!  I loved Ghost Hunters, but the cameras were always pointed at the guys there instead of out where they could get something caught on tape....after a while, it just got old watching them react to something, so I moved on to something else.  Why they chose NOT to use the available film cameras as another means of gathering evidence is really beyond me.

I might have to go check that Spaghetti Warehouse out...which one is it?

I'd love to check out a reliably haunted location!  I adore Ghost Hunters, though I am more interested in seeing what they have for the reveal rather than what they are reacting to.  For epic lulz, check out Most Haunted---those folks LIVE to scare themselves!

That's the Old Spaghetti Factory on Cental Ave. about a block south of McDowell on Central's west side.

I like Paranormal State now.  I too, got frustrated with Ghost Hunters.. but I still record it.  Did they ever get rid of that whiney Brian?

If you like ghost stories, Ghostly Encounters out of Canada is a good one.

Most Haunted is awesome...i lived in England for 4 years and watched it all the time.  Talk about a Haunted place...England is very haunted.

As a pre-teen my parents bought an old Victorian house that was haunted.  We moved out of that after about 6 months.  LOL.  A child had died at the bottom of the staircase and didn't seem to know she was gone.  Sad really but terrifying also.

I'm waaaay too sensitive to want to spend a night in a place like that.  I hated Alcatraz.  The energy there was so strong & so negative.  It's the same in Forts.  So I avoid places like that.  I love wandering around cemeteries, however.  One day, I was leaning toward my girlfriend at our home & we both felt something, looked at the cat who was doing her impression of a Hallowe'en cat & both said at the same time, "What the heck was that???"  Something or someone most definitely passed between us!

How do you see the difference.. ghosts bing the soul of the departed and spirits being of other worldly origin?

I'm presently of the mind that ghosts are just energy imprints those that had inhabited the premises.  I am consciously "imprinting" places in my life with a sort of time capsule-like energy that people would tap into to answer the usual questions. like who are you, what happened here, why are you here.  It's what I call energy placement (I got the idea while watching my dog mark territory )
